Ros cottage was lovingly created and built by its only owner twenty years ago with a design that makes you believe its been there forever. While it looks old and traditional, it is equipped with all the modern amenities one could ever want. Nestled atop a hillside and overlooking the Irish sea and Carlingford Lough, this is a haven for family , or individuals who want to get away from “ the madding crowd “ and live as one with nature. With breathtaking and uninterrupted views over the sea towards the Mourne Mountains , Ros Cottage is a one off and has to be seen to be believed. This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. Located in idyllic Northern Irish countryside, Clenaghan's cottages are situated on the site of an over 250 year old farmyard. Boasting 6 cottages in total, each has been converted to a high specification with modern facilities including high-speed internet & wide-screen televisions. Every apartment has its own living area, kitchen, bedroom and en-suite. You'll arrive to a generously stocked fridge with welcome pack including everything you need to make your own Ulster Fry in the morning as well as bread, milk, cheese and more. Also on site is the award-winning Clenaghan's Restaurant which opens Wednesday to Sunday. Just 5 minutes drive away is the quaint Moira village, which has no shortage of bars, restaurants & cafes for you to peruse. Moira is beside the Northern Ireland M1 Motorway (Junction 9) between Lurgan and Lisburn. Belfast is a 25 minute drive by car and is accessible from Moira Train Station, a 5 minute drive away.

Quaint “Lilac Tree Cottage” Greyabbey

'Lilac Tree' is a quaint two bedroom cottage located in the historic village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, Ards Peninsula, opposite the beautiful Cistercian Abbey. The cottage dates back to 1860 and has a spacious living room with wood-burning stove, seperate kitchen with dining table, two small cosy bedrooms & a modern bathroom. Accommodates 4 guests with additional accommodation available for a further 2 guests. A wood-fired hot tub can be set up for an extra charge of £130.

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks.
