Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Within the village there is small path network and two commons for evening strolls. Thornhill is perfectly located to explore Stirling, Callander, Doune and the surrounding countryside, including Blairdrummond Safari Park. The village boasts a fabulous pub/restaurant serving good food and chatty locals.

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

We are situated in the leafy village of Tarbet, and only a two minute walk to the shores of Loch Lomond. Our spacious suites have floor to ceiling windows with spectacular south facing views straight down the centre of Loch Lomond. This modern space sleeps 4 people comfortably. It’s veranda is perfect for watching the sunset over Loch Lomond. We are situated in front of Garabhan Forest, Drymen -the perfect spot for exploring. Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.
