Buttonwood trees shade both a classic thatch-roofed gazebo and a newly built patio, and each villa has its own indoor and outdoor living areas. Walk through the all-villa Hermosa Cove resort to private beaches for a snorkel or romantic dinner on the sand.
Both residences are partly staffed and open to sun-kissed outdoor living areas with a pool, plenty of loungers, and shaded alfresco dining. Start the day on the tanning shelf of the Buttonwood Reef pool and finish with a rum punch in an on-the-water gazebo at Sea Biscuit.
To-the-horizon ocean views extend from the outdoors in to the 2 villas, filling their open-concept living and dining areas. Leave the sliding glass doors open to feel the breeze off the water, too. A fully equipped kitchen in each villa allows the chefs to whip up a meal or a fresh round of drinks. Some of the bedrooms have alfresco—but private—bathrooms that feel like little honeymoon suites.
Hermosa Cove is nestled on 12 acres of tropical forest on the coast near Ocho Rios. Follow footpaths to a yoga pavilion, pools that cascade down the hillside, and 2 private beaches. Guests are welcome to borrow complimentary snorkel equipment or a kayak to explore offshore.
