This was probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. So thoughtful on all the details, relaxing to step foot in. Our dog and toddler loved it too. Oh and when I foolishly left a bunch of. Clothes behind Lara let me know right away and had them shipped back to us. Phew and thank you!

If you are looking for a peaceful, calming stay for a great price, this is the one! Louis was an amazing host that was very responsive to any question that we had during our stay which made everything seamless! The hot tub is a MUST on the cool evenings & is what drew me to this Airbnb and it delivered! My fiancée & I loved it and found the stay very calming with plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area ☺️

Enjoyed our stay. Watuga River out back in a quiet neighborhood. And, the short walk to Grandfather Vineyard made it even better.

Serenity Falls is beautiful inside and out! Very relaxing and peaceful. The comfy bed, hot tub, waterfall, and flowing water beside the house made for a very enjoyable and restful trip. Some places do not have comfortable beds or clean hot tubs, this place was great! Also plenty of towels and blankets. Too steep of terrain for us to hike, but was a beautiful location - would love to see when the rhododendrons are blooming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We had such a great visit. The entire house was very clean and organized. The screened in porch and back porch with Jacuzzi was a huge hit. It was very peaceful and quiet in a great place to get away to relax highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at firefly cabin! Loved the amenities! Very clean, private, and wholesome! Favorite part was playing by the fire pit with a flashlight at night creating hand shadows on the huge rock formation in the back, felt like a kid again! Good times were had!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Weekender and it was absolutely perfect. Bryan and Sharon are delightful hosts and created an unforgettable experience for our family. We even had a chance to enjoy a snow storm on our last evening and wow, what a view this home offers! Thanks again for making us feel like home and hope to come back again soon.

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

I have stayed here a few times before. I really enjoy coming to Banjo’s Cabin! It’s always cozy, clean, and the hosts are always friendly and welcoming!

This is one of the best places my friend group has stayed. Very comfortable space that offers something for everyone. Tom is a great host and very responsive. The place was really clean. Also great location for all mountain activities.

We stayed here for an ultramarathon I was running in at Grayson Highlands and so glad we chose this spot. The property was wonderful and had everything we needed. My wife and my 7 year old loved it as well and we are looking forward to going back for another trip.

Loved the place. The house was super cute and very cozy. It slept all of us comfortably. The roads coming in and the steep drive way, you definitely need 4 wheel drive. But would definitely recommend this house. Thanks!

Had an excellent stay here with our two dogs. The house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The little touches like having a dog crate and dog bowls available made it even better. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get up the steep driveway after rain and snow came through, but otherwise it wasn’t an issue. The location was far away enough to have peace and privacy, but close enough to easily access shops and restaurants in town. Would love to stay here again!

An unbelievable treasure. I now know if I ever get to build my retirement home this is what it will be modeled after. We got to explore, play in the creek, my kids played outside the entire time and did not once ask for TV time. It was a very well decorated but also baby proofed house which I always appreciate. So many kitchen amenities and tons of towels for use and helpful things everywhere. The cozy gas fireplace made me most relaxed after the kids went to bed. We also felt incredibly safe. Never once crossed my mind to feel uncomfortable. Hands down we loved it and can't wait to come back. it's a total gem!!

What a peaceful escape! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly tucked away in a beautiful, secluded spot. The gentle sound of the creek made for the most calming backdrop, like nature’s lullaby. We loved spending evenings by the bonfire and relaxing in the hammock, listening to the birds. Even our cat seemed totally at ease, exploring and soaking it all in. The hosts were so kind and quick to respond to any questions. Everything about our stay felt easy and special—we couldn’t have asked for more. Would absolutely come back!

This place was beyond relaxing and breath taking views! My fiancée and I had an amazing time and we felt right at home and were able to recharge and relax.

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this charming 100-year-old cabin. After the noise of Charlotte, it was a peaceful and quiet escape. The scent of old wood and the sound of heavy rain at night created such a cozy atmosphere. The house is small but has everything you need. We didn’t catch any sunshine—haha—but even the cloudy weather added to the mood. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for your care. It was a special and memorable time with my beloved. We’d love to come back again!

Beautiful location, it had everything that a quilter, sewer, or crafter could want. The workspace was wonderful. We had tables that we could set our machines on. There were ironing and cutting stations. The bedrooms were marvelous, kitchen and dining room was all we could ask for and she had every little thing extra that we usually had to bring ourselves. Best retreat place I have ever been to. Have already booked again.

We absolutely loved this little cabin. Small but all we needed and the screen porch on the back was amazing. Hearing the babbling brook while winding down for the evening was magical. All in all, a great place and we'd definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. Enjoyed the privacy of the house sitting at the top of a hill, many areas in the deck, gazebo and outside to just enjoy the nature. The kitchen and outside grill were nice for cooking our meals. The kids loved all the entertainment including the game room, foosball table, board games. Great place to visit the surrounding state parks for hiking. The house was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
