Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Oasis

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Vineyard Cottage | Goodluck Homestead

Off-grid eco cottage situated on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains. Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, this cottage has pure spring fed water, a wood fired hot tub, solar power so is not affected by load shedding. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens We regret no babies, children or pets are allowed for safety reasons.

Hamstead Farm eco-friendly Cottage

Hamstead Farm Cottage is a unique, cosy, two-bedroom solar and wind-powered 80 sq m split-level eco-friendly guest house set in the grounds of the main dwelling on a small farm. There are spectacular mountain views of the Southern Drakensberg with a small stock-watering dam close by. Children can play safely in an adjoining fenced, grassed area. This is a quiet and tranquil get-away where individuals, groups and families of all backgrounds and persuasions are welcomed.

Pied Kingfisher Cottage, Langhoogte Farm

Pied Kingfisher cottage is built using natural building techniques and materials. It has two bedrooms, accommodating four people. There is an open plan lounge and kitchen with a cosy fire place and an outside braai and dining area. The cottage is about 1 km down the valley from the main farm house, promise to offer the ideal off-grid eco-retreat perfect for families, friends and small teams looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

THE ZULU HUT - A UNIQUE AFRICAN EXPERIENCE

Situated in a safe, crime-free area, with tar roads all the way, is the Zulu Hut. It has traditional Zulu decor. Lying in bed you have an amazing view of the beautiful Drakensberg mountains. Lots to see and do in the area. The little rock pool is ideal for cooling off. On the same property is INKUNZI CAVE and DIDDLY SQUAT, which are listed separately.

Our room has everything you need, solar electricity, luxury linen with DSTV, Netflix, air conditioning,microwave and fridge(include dishware ) . It is a spacious room where you can relax and it’s perfect for business travelers where they have a friendly work space for their laptops. We also have a security guard who patrol our premises.

Situated on a family farm high up in the beautiful Magoebaskloof mountains of Limpopo province, the Cob House is an off the grid fully equipped self catering cottage constructed from earth.
