This top level South Hobart apartment is sunny and very private - you will feel immersed in beautiful bushland, but still enjoy easy access to the city, and Hobart's famous waterfront (just a 10min drive into the Hobart CBD/Salamanca and a 15 min drive to the top of Mt Wellington). The apartment has been architecturally designed and showcases beautiful Tasmanian timbers, complemented by quality furnishings and bedding.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.

Architecturally designed to capture all day sun, this modern townhouse boasts stunning vistas towards sunrise over the River Derwent. This prime location is only a stone’s throw from South Hobart’s trendy cafés, and is within walking distance of the CBD. Downstairs, a queen-sized bed with all the trimmings will best suit a couples getaway.

Jan's Studio has a cosy queen sized bed, and a small lounge-kitchen space equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is WiFi and off-street parking. The space is a separate dwelling looking onto a beautiful garden. It is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and is a short walk to local parks, cafes, and restaurants. Jan's studio lies at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, and is less than 3 km to Hobart and Salamanca, with its popular Saturday market.
