I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

We loved our stay hosted by Gus at the cottage! What a lovely welcome with a cute basket full of goodies. We picked this stay due to my 2 year old who is obsessed with farmland/ tractors and this was the perfect location. Elsewhere cottage is a lovely space for a family of 4 (2 year old and 8 month old). Bedrooms were spacious , kitchen was tidy and offered all that was needed for our 4 night stay. Gus’s outdoor space is amazing and fantastic when you have young children - thank you allowing us to roam freely around your private space including the tractors! Please also extend our gratitude to Colin who we met on Friday evening, he allowed my son to look around his hanger and of course he found more tractors. We’ll definitely be back for sure! Thank you again Gus you was super!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at The Bothy. Beautiful surroundings and the cottage’s was cosy and well equipped. We enjoyed the woodburner. Alicia and Christopher responded quickly and helpfully and gave us a lovely warm welcome. Their home made bread and marmalade were a lovely treat. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable with excellent WiFi. The TV is not so good with poor reception but there are plenty of DVDs.

we had a great stay. the area is very peaceful, but within easy distance of main roads. pubs and local walks. lots to do locally and slightly further afield. the house was exactly as pictured, and very clean. the kitchen had everything we needed, including plastic plates for little ones. hosts were easy to contact but respectful of privacy. we'd definitely book again!

i had a lovely serene stay by myself in the barn. Wonderful walking, views, twinkly night skies and I even saw a barn owl swoop just infront of me at twilight. The barn is equipped so well, has everything you could possibly need, and i loved having a fire every evening. So cosy. I will be back. Thank you! x

It was a pleasure to stay with Beth. The place was beautiful and exceptionally well-kept. The best part was the location where you wake up inside a lovely rustic building surrounded by a beautiful farm. When we get a chance to go to the Cotswolds, we will go back there again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for calm after a day of exploring the Cotswolds and Bath.

There’s a dilemma when finding a gem.. do you keep to yourself (and enable ease of rebooking) or share ? David and Candida are so generous to share their incredible property, it is only right to share my opinions too. This place is incredible- the location, spotless property and abundant tranquility. Probably difficult to access in the winter, but staying in spring was like being whisked away to Somerset heaven. Take some slippers for the stairs (cast iron uncomfortable underfoot) but that was the only flaw in a delightful stay.

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

The Stone Barn is set in a beautiful location and the place itself is amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The barn is exactly as described and fitted out well with everything you would need. Nicky and Mark were great hosts, providing detailed check in and parking information as well as initial essential items in the barn. We are already looking for our next excuse to stay here again.

we stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. location was excellent, good walking opportunities. the interior of the barn was exceptional - a superbly designed and well thought out conversion. all amenities were excellent, had everything we needed. would definitely stay again. Lynn was friendly and communicative

A wonderful place for our short stay in the Cotswolds. Cot and high chair were provided as we'd requested. There were also some good kids toys and books available to use. The space was kitted out really well with lots useful kitchen utensils, tea, coffee and fresh eggs all provided.

„The old stable“‘ ist eine schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, gemütliche und geräumige Unterkunft mit einer großen Terrasse und einer großen Wiese. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Die Bäder sind komfortabel, die Betten bequem. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Paul was very helpful with all the information beforehand and always responded quickly. Laurel cottage is an absolute gem in a wonderful location. It was lovely hearing and seeing the lambs from our bedroom window, the garden is a haven! The welcome basket was a very welcome gift. Many thanks Paul and would highly recommend .

We had a lovely stay at Sam’s place. Very clean and homely, beautiful views, lovely big hot tub and it was lovely to have the cows outside.

The Barn was perfect for us. We traveled with our 2 kids and their grandparents and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Very nice having 3 bedrooms easily accessible with no stairs. The 4th bedroom upstairs felt private. The scenery is idyllic and so peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated having everything needed for cooking. It was really nice to be supplied with all household items and not have to shop for soap, toilet tissue, laundry detergent, etc. This is a truly fantastic, clean, and great place to stay.

We had a lovely few days here, Tom was very friendly and helpful. Loved all the animals, my daughter absolutely loved the dogs and is missing them already! Great location for visiting Bath and Bristol.

Lovely cosy Shepherds Hut. Five minute drive from Bath park-and-ride. Beautiful countryside surroundings. Great host. Would stay again!

When reviewing the property I wanted to emphasize that the photos did not accurately depict the property but if I claimed that, the review system received it negatively. The photos are good but once you arrive at the property, you realise that you are getting so much more bang for your buck. This place is exceptionally spacious, great layout for parties of six, large families or even 2 families. The place is relatively remote but only a 15 minute drive into the center of Bath, so not too far from a lot of action. Highly recommend this property to all types of visitors unless you're looking for something where you are in the middle of all the action. For my wants and needs, I will definitely be coming again.

Claire was a great host, felt instantly at home on my arrival at the Hayloft. It was clean, very comfortable, had everything you would need to make your stay effortless, just the perfect location. So peaceful and calm. I throughly enjoyed my stay and so did Mr Bogart 🐶 lovely walks together, it was the perfect getaway for a bit of R&R. I hope we will retun for another stay at the Hayloft.

Beautiful location - drive into Bath only 15 minutes. Stunning views! Place was immaculate, very clean, beautifully designed and had everything you needed. Myself and the group I attended with could not fault it.

Peaceful outlook, clean and very comfortable. Great host with clear instructions. I will stay there again and strongly recommend it!

Picture perfect for our Christmas getaway and had everything we needed to enjoy the festive period. The two local pubs were in walking distance and the locals were extremely friendly.
