EXPERIENCE - 2 min walk from the centre of Balnarring where cafes, restaurants, pub a brewery and a new IGA are on your doorstep, 2 min drive to Balnarring Beach close to wineries this modern light studio provides the perfect base to go exploring around the Mornington Peninsula.

The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Oswin Roberts Cottage a hidden gem/whole property

Oswin Roberts Cottage is situated in the nature park of Phillip island. High on a hill with stunning panoramic views of Rhyll inlet. Immerse your self in nature as you enjoy a glass of wine in front of the open fire indoor or out door fire pit. Oswin Roberts cottage is the only property on Phillip island with the proximity to the nature park. As night falls watch the majestic bird life and colours change over the Rhyll inlet, and watch wallabies come up to feed. The whole property is yours !!!

Retro Beach house across the road and over the sand dunes to the beach. Recently updated with new furniture, aircon and heating throughout. A roaring open fire place for you to enjoy during winter and electric blankets on every bed except top bunks! A great place to stay for graduating HMAS families. The perfect 60s beach house and separate bungalow directly behind the Somers Yacht Club and beach. Relax on the lawn under a huge eucalypt or snuggle up by the fire during the colder, wintry months... you'll just love it! It’s an easy stroll through the bush path or along the beach to the Somers General Store for one of the best breakfasts on the Peninsula!
