Check info for Silvers (late Aug - mid Sept) and trout before booking. The River House is the perfect basecamp near open-water fishing in Seward (2hrs) or in Homer (1.5 hrs).

A lovely breakfast bar seats 4, dining seats 6. There is a natural cold-water spring with a small tub for keeping drinks cool while you are enjoying yourself around the fire pit. Shackleford Creek Mountain House is a special place where we join family and friends to explore the mountains, lakes, rivers and trails that are in the Cooper Landing area. We are situated a mile from the town center where multiple fish and river guides base their operations. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking trails are all within minutes of the house. The design of the house is open and well suited for couples and families with kids older than three.
