The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

About a 2 hour drive from the city, Rita’s Rapids is a cozy cabin perched up on a bank above the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, a world away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Located on 4 acres of prime riverfront property, with over 500ft of private river access for fishing, kayaking, etc. Short drive to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, local vineyards, Massanutten Resort, horseback riding tours, hiking and biking trails! Come unwind and get away from it all!

The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.
