Converted from an old guardhouse, Garrison Hotel combines historical atmosphere with modern facilities. There is free WiFi, and a restaurant serving homemade food. Sheffield city centre is a 10-minute drive away. Rooms have simple décor and come with a flat-screen TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. Each room has its own bathroom with a hairdryer, and there is also a balcony for guests to enjoy. Garrison Hotel’s restaurant is open 7 days a week, with food ranging from hearty steaks to more continental options. A full cooked breakfast is provided each morning. Beer is served from local breweries and there is a different selection each week. There are a range of shops and restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk, and good public transport links nearby. The Chateau Suite is on the ground floor off the main staircase, with high ceilings and a feature marble fireplace. It features a French chateau carved king-size bed and furnishings, an en-suite bathroom with a large double bath, walk-in shower, W.C. and wash basin. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, dining area with table and chairs. Original wood-panelled shutters to windows overlooking the front garden of the Hall. Please note the the restaurant & bar is closed, but there are lots of fantastic options locally.
