It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. The sounds of silence radiates through the trees and gives that sense of calm we all wish for in our daily lives. Once inside you find it a comfortable stay. Backyard is awesome! Stay another day!

Immerse yourself in nature as you hike to Lassen Peak, Bumpass Hell, and Cinder Cone. With less than an hour drive you can witness the beauty of Burney Falls or fish at Hat Creek. In the winter, enjoy the snow play at Eskimo Hill or strap on your snowshoes and explore the winter landscapes around Manzanita Lake. Gas/grocery are only a few mins drive.

This is a large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom (1400 sq ft) home with boat parking. This is the perfect space for a family or couples looking for a getaway. Our cabin is located just 3 minutes to the shores of Lake Shasta, California (depending on lake levels) and located 1.5 to 3 miles from boat launches (depending on lake levels). The cabin overlooks the Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake and has access to a private dock with kayaks and a canoe. This cabin sleeps two with a beautiful 4-Poster King Bed in the Living Area and cozy Hammock on the back deck. Additional romantic features of the cabin is the huge soaking tub for two, electric fireplace, fluffy bathrobes, and vintage chandelier.

Cabin Hideaway

This is a lovely cabin tucked under the pines. Close to Mt. Shasta and skiing, fishing and hiking areas as well as the historic town of Dunsmuir. There’s a kitchen with a full size refrigerator so you can stay in or enjoy a lovely meal in town. Mt. Shasta is about 10 minutes away with wonderful shops and restaurants to explore. The cabin is located in Cedar Pines RV Resort so there is ample parking for trailers. There are security cameras around the park, but no cameras in the cabin
