Salted Roots Purple Door Cottage with Ocean Views

Introducing our newly designed cottages at Salted Roots Cabins (5 private units). The glass-front second-story master bedroom connects to a deck overlooking Resurrection Bay. Great views, great location at the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. Including two floors, a floating staircase, plus downstairs a luxurious bathroom and a kitchen for creating stay-at-home meals. Newly built modern design with a manual garage door for an open-air living room feel. Construction finished in July, 2021.

Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

The Kodiak Cabin - Newly remodeled!

First of all... We are a retired military couple with one of the longest running nightly rentals in this area! We try very hard to make sure you have a great stay, and we feel our 4.9+ Star rating shows that! Now for the Kodiak Cabin!... This studio style cabin is perfect for a couple! There is a fully furnished kitchen, a bath with a Huge shower and dual flush toilet, King bed in the bedroom area, a great new couch, TV, wifi, and a closet in the living room area. Just bring your clothes!

Cooper Cabins

Log building with 2 queen beds. In the winter this is my garage but summer it's a great 'cabin'. Microwave, fridge, covered grilling area with gas grill,space heater, private shower/toilet house. Fire pit, no wood supplied. Kenai Lake access is 1 mile, great beach walking. Fish on the Kenai, 1.5 miles away or drive 6 miles to the Russian River. Dogs allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the cabin unless they are in a kennel. If days are not available please ask, I might be open.

It is walking distance from a fish weir, great place to see spawning salmon, and Bear Lake. It’s ideal for 2, however there is room for 4, as long as two people don't mind climbing a ladder to get to the upstairs. Enjoy soft beds, hot shower, and a cup of coffee to get you going in the morning.

We are in the heart of downtown Seward! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and a variety of family friendly activities along Resurrection Bay. Our apartment is above the health food store, with a coffee shop and deli, and adjacent to a playground, Kawabe Park, and the free shuttle stop. You will love our place! We are great for groups, couples, families (kids, too!) and business travelers. You are at home with us!
