The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

Red Oak Ridge, Walkersons Estate

Red Oak Ridge is situated within Walkersons Lifestyle Estate. The home has exceptional, elevated views of the estate and is tastefully furnished with an open plan kitchen, dining room, living room and family room. The cosy indoor fireplace, covered patio and fire area makes this the perfect home for entertainment and family time. The main bedroom is en-suite and the other 2 bedrooms in the main house each have a separate bathroom. The 4th en-suite bedroom is separate to the house and has 4 beds.

Eden Rain

The house is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the main attractions. It has its own fenced off garden and is situated in a small estate with 3 other houses. There's a solar system which keeps lights, wifi and the fridge on during loadshedding! The main living area is spacious and has a beautiful sunroom for lounging around. Each bedroom can be arranged into either double or single beds which is ideal for any group booking and there is a pizza oven available as well.

Oak View House

Oak View House is a Self-Catering Home within Walkersons Private Estate, just outside of Dullstroom. It is the best place to relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Perfect for a family getaway or a weekend away with some friends. Take in the spectacular elevated view of the surroundings of the estate and the stylish interior the house has to offer. Oak View is equipped with Solar Panels so that you can still enjoy the house to its fullest during Loadshedding.

Mbizane Luxury 8-Sleeper Tent

A grouping of three large elevated decks, designed to enable small groups to share the thrill of staying together in the forest next to a pristine mountain stream, with a majestic cliff looming above. 8 adults are comfortably accommodated, with plenty of space to spare. The bedroom of each suite has an extra length king size bed, electric blanket and mosquito net, desk and en-suite bathroom. The communal deck area serves as a spacious modern dining room area, lounge, communal kitchen.

Sedgehog is a small family cottage, ideal for a family of four looking for a rural escape in the African bush. The cottage features one downstairs bedroom with a king bed and one loft bedroom with two single beds, while the spacious living area is perfect for family games night. Sedgehog’s concertina doors can be folded open to expose the entire living space to a gorgeous hillside view, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor. This cottage is pet friendly.

Palmietfontein Cottage, Holingsberg Fly Fishing

Happy to say the road has been repaired after the rainy season. Holingsberg Palmietfontein Cottage is the ideal break away for family and friends. It is close to Dullstroom but totally secluded, with a lovely dam at your doorstep. Explore the farm on foot, mountainbike, or visit the quint little town of Dullstroom close-by. Relax in the evening in-front of the fireplace, enjoying your favourite drink, talking about the day’s fishing and beautiful scenery.

The 'Ultimate Escape' - Oak House

African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained.
