Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Batty Barn is a barn conversion on a working farm close to Scarborough. Harwood Dale is a rural setting, set in the National Park.The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we do accept a well behaved dog at the property. The cottage sleeps 4. There is a king size bed in bedroom 1 which has an en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds. A travel cot & highchair are available on request. It's ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough, Whitby and the historic walled city of York. Located on one of the main roads in Pickering (sometimes there will be traffic noise) the tree lined street of Eastgate is beautiful in all seasons and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Visit one of the fantastic pubs or catch a steam train to Whitby.

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below.
