This 20-meter-high waterfall, along with the most magical cave in the Dominican Republic, will allow you to immerse yourself in Nature, enjoy spectacular views, and live a true Dominican experience. We'll meet at Columbus Park in the Colonial Zone to start our journey to the waterfall, 50 minutes from the city. Enjoy scenic landscapes and dive into Dominican culture along the way. On arrival, be welcomed by authentic Dominican coffee prepared by Doña Ramona, we will take a 15-minute walk through a tropical scene to reach the stunning 20-meter-high waterfall. The path is steep but safe. After spending about two and a half hours swimming, taking photos, and exploring our favorite secret spot we will return to the starting point for a delicious traditional Dominican lunch, perfect for relaxing and enjoying local cuisine. Say goodbye to the waterfall and prepare for a 45-minute ride towards Santo Domingo to visit the famous 3 Eyes cave. Here, we'll explore its amazing caves and underground lakes while learning about its fascinating history. Then we'll head back to Columbus Park, ending a day full of adventure, new experiences, and new friends. Los Tres Ojos (The three eyes) is a must do in Santo Domingo. It's a set of underground lakes and a big cenote in the middle of the city. The best way to combine it is with a secluded beach! We depart at 9:00am from your hotel (pickup included in Central Area). Our first stop is Los 3 Ojos, 15 minutes away from Zona Colonial. We walk through its 3 lakes under caves, explaining the history about them (non-certified guide included), and then we take the little boat ride (included) to its 4th lake, or the big cenote. Swimming is not allowed here. After spending about 1.5 hours at Los Tres Ojos, we drive about 20 more minutes to get to a non famous, very local small beach with crystal clear water, in which you can relax, swim, jump into the water, interact with locals, or just watch the airplanes taking off/landing at the airport. We spend 2 hours at the beach. Beach might/might not look as in the pictures depending on weather/sun conditions. Then we change clothes (no shower here, no dressing room, we change by the car) and go to a nearby very local place to have a Dominican lunch (included). We return to Santo Domingo at around 3:00pm.

Difficulty level: -Medium; when you're fit/water level is low (dry/cold season) -High; when you're not fit/water level is high (wet/hot season) It is completely doable in all scenarios. You must not have any injuries, don't need to be an athlete either! (If you want a more challenging experience, book 'Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall') LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking. After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. Let's meet at a local colmado (or coffee shop if you prefer) and get to know each other, I have found the best time starts when there is confidence so let's start with that, I will also share important information about Dominican Republic and the lifestyle. Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at the main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems. Main places that we will be visiting: - Santa Regina Church - Maraca Restaurant and bistro - Duarte Park - The Cathedral - Museum of Sugar and Cane rooftop - Fortaleza Ozama - La Tarazana - House of Rum Bar and museum I grew up in this area and is my favorite area of the city to party and hang out with friends/family so I know it well. Emocionante excursión de un día para Saona, empezamos reuniéndonos en la zona colonial a las 6:15 AM para salir en nuestro bus con destino al puerto en un viaje de aproximadamente dos horas. Al abordar el bote navegamos hasta Saona para realizar la primera parada en la piscina natural donde podrás disfrutar de esta belleza natural por aproximadamente 40 min para luego ir al lugar reservado que tenemos en playa palmilla en Saona. Al llegar a nuestro lugar reservado donde tenemos tumbonas, hamacas, sillas para su disposicion, tambien alla tenemos el lugar donde tenemos la comida a la 1pm y un bar con bebidas incluidas para ti como Ron con 7up, cuba libre, sangria, agua y a partir de la 1pm cerveza disponible. Tendras hasta las 3:30 Pm libre para disfrutar de Saona y luego empezamos abordar el bote de regreso al puerto. Importarte saber que si vas en lancha ,regresaras en catamaran y viceversa, esta actividad incluye almuerzo y Bebidas alcholicas para mayores de 18 años, transporte ida y vuelta desde Santo Domingo.

En esta fantastica experiencia te daré un tours por los mejores bares de la zona colonial para que disfrutes de nuestra musica tropical, te enseñaré a tocar instrumentos de percusion tales como: Maracas, Cencerro y la clave. Intinerario: Nos encontraremos a las 8:30 pm en el Sarten, el Sartén es un bar bohemio con una historia bellisima que contar donde las personas que lo frecuentan son de la tercera edad pero con un espíritu joven, alegre y vivaz; en este bar colocan los mejores Merengues, Salsas, Son y Bachatas para bailar. A las 9:15 pm iremos a Parada 77 un bar tan divertido como tú, con 22 años de trayectoria y donde podrás dejar una huella de tu paso por este pais, debido a que te permiten poner tu nombre en las paredes con creyón permanente y ese recuerdo quedará en la historia de ese lugar. A las 10:00 pm iremos al museo del ron dominicano, este bar es uno de los más recientes en la zona colonial pero con un diseño elegante, fresco y colonial que te dejará enamorado y querrás tomarte fotos para subirlas a tus redes sociales. Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs? We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way. Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required. After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes. Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful! Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm. Exploring the North; Cenote & beach, swimming and jumping
Looking for authentic things to do in Santo Domingo? Let's explore the North of the island, two beautiful places: 1. Laguna Dudu: A recreational area that has a big cenote, just like Los 3 Ojos but you can actually swim. Not only in Mexico you have cenotes!. It also has a cave you can explore, and another smaller lake you can also swim and relax. It has some swings, hammocks, volleyball and soccer courts. 2. Playa La Entrada: A very unique beach that has a stream that flows into it. That means you have both fresh and salty water at the same beach. It's paradisiac. We depart at 6am (can be 30 min earlier) We drive 2.5 hours. We stop for authentic Dominican breakfast. Then we go to Playa La Entrada and spend 2.5 hours there. Then we go to Laguna Dudu and spend 3 hours. Recommended to bring/buy some snack in between the activities. Finally, we have lunch (at around 3:00pm) and head back to Santo Domingo to arrive round 6:30pm Recommendations: -Go out with your swimming clothes and water shoes -Bring sunscreen, hat and glasses -Bring a towel and dry clothes/footwear to change afterwards -Bring a plastic bag to put your wet clothes -Good vibes

You must be in shape. (For a less challenging experience, book 'Hiking Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall'). LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Hotel pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pickup might start 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights to get to a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our 5-hour journey to La Culebra waterfall: we go uphill, then downhill to the creek. Then we hike/climb upstream to the waterfall and spend some time there. Then we go downstream to the top of a 27m high waterfall (Tabernacle waterfall, my other experience) and rappel it down. Then we keep going downstream through several waterholes until the end, with different options to get down. This is a strenuous route. If you're out of shape, don't book it. You must not have injuries. No rapel experience required After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. A kind of natural canyon or cave with a waterfall in its center, the perfect refuge for an adventure. The adventure begins at 6am at the meeting point. It’s a two hour drive to the town where we are having a Dominican breakfast. After breakfast we start the hike, which is around 3 hours total. This is beautiful hike full of natural pools, waterfalls and an amazing natural slide, where we will slide, climb with ropes and swim in those crystalline waters. I’ll be capturing all this moments with my camara :) Here we’ll have some incredible virgin sights, where we could capture the best moments in photographs. After that exciting experience we are going to have a wonderful lunch cooked by a Local Grandma, she prepare the most delicious Dominican Typical Dishes, Normally the popular Dominican Flag, White Rice, Red Beans And Stew Chicken accompanied with Juice, Salads, Coffee and More, (Can be modified in Vegetarian cases). Los Cacaos is a little farmer town, the growth their own food, and everything the use its organic, we are going to be in touch with great locals, this experience also help them improve their quality life. Finally we come back home at 3PM, arriving Santo Domingo at 5PM. An experience you will never forget.

Get to know the real Dominican Republic! Soak up the city’s rich colonial history, visit local markets, snack on some of Santo Domingo’s must-try treats, then end the day with an icy-cold Dominican beer. You’ll start in Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone, we’ll see the Caribbean side of the old city, as we walk, eventually getting to the old city walls that once protected the city from pirates. We'll visit the Indepence Park an important landmark commemorating the Dominican Republic’s struggle for independence. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to explore local markets, filled with fruits, vegetables, grains, and spices, as well as the spices used in Dominican cuisine. Learn about how Spanish and Arab immigrants brought their influence to the island. Discover the african - spanish religious syncretism of the Dominican Voodoo. We'll learn about the Dominican handmade crafts used in the countryside lifestyle and walk through Little Haiti and China Town to explore the small, picturesque businesses. If you’re getting hungry, our walk takes us to few of the most traditional local cafeterias and bakeries in the city, where you can try much delicious and locally loved treats
Aprende a tocar maracas y cencerro en la zona colonial
En esta fantastica experiencia te daré un tours por los mejores bares de la zona colonial para que disfrutes de nuestra musica tropical, te enseñaré a tocar instrumentos de percusion tales como: Maracas, Cencerro y la clave. Intinerario: Nos encontraremos a las 8:30 pm en el Sarten, el Sartén es un bar bohemio con una historia bellisima que contar donde las personas que lo frecuentan son de la tercera edad pero con un espíritu joven, alegre y vivaz; en este bar colocan los mejores Merengues, Salsas, Son y Bachatas para bailar. A las 9:15 pm iremos a Parada 77 un bar tan divertido como tú, con 22 años de trayectoria y donde podrás dejar una huella de tu paso por este pais, debido a que te permiten poner tu nombre en las paredes con creyón permanente y ese recuerdo quedará en la historia de ese lugar. A las 10:00 pm iremos al museo del ron dominicano, este bar es uno de los más recientes en la zona colonial pero con un diseño elegante, fresco y colonial que te dejará enamorado y querrás tomarte fotos para subirlas a tus redes sociales. Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs? We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way. Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required. After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes. Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful! Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm. We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see trees and a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon to eat at the pool. Also you can enjoy your food with a Presidente Beer or Mamajuana. At the end we will give you your chocolate ball 100% cacao to take home!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes (better to use black color), sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.
