The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. This ancestral farm house with its heart of pine flooring is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Virginia Piedmont on a beautiful 600-acre VA Century Farm which has been in the same family since just after the Civil War. Now owned and operated by three sisters, one a CPA, one a retired public school principal, and one a pastor of a local Methodist Church. The farm hosts Angus cattle, deer, turkeys, small creeks, a fish pond and is ideal for hiking, or just peace of mind.

Please when booking with us keep inconsideration that this is an older country home 🏡 that we’ve fixed up alittle but not perfect, built in 1940’s. With that being said you can enjoy our small community from Belews Lake and Hanging Rock State Park 30 minutes away . We offer downtown shopping and tubing as well . Greensboro and Winston Salem are 30 minutes away. We have plenty of space for bringing your boats / jet skis for parking to our nearest belews Lake 14 minutes away
