Charming Unit in the Heart of SF

Room matches the description and was much larger than I thought it would be! No hidden fees like the rest of San Fran were charging me and parking cost were reasonable. Kalven was very reassuring and helped guide me through the process of booking his place. Thank you for a lovely stay mate, appreciate it!

The Inn at the Opera is a charming boutique hotel located in the cultural district. Great bed, clean room, and built in cabinets that hid a fridge, dishes, and even some wine glasses. The complimentary continental breakfast bar in the restaurant included hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and cottage cheese in addition to bagels, muffins, and fruit. There were some European touches including sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Would definitely stay here again!

Historic Smiley’s Saloon Room 3

You hardly ever come to a place and it’s better than expected, but this was the case with our room at Smiley’s. Charming as heck with a lovely porch. Once we figured out that you just check in with the bartender it was all good. The bar is fun too and we had a rousing ping pong game in the evening. The morning was gorgeous and we strolled down to the beach. A great spot.

My granddaughter & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The location was perfect! I wasn't sure of the arrangements and whether I had my own "apartment" but now I understand it was a fully furnished time-share apartment in a building with many others. While I did hear the folks upstairs, the noise wasn't bad - I did hear the frequent trolly car and that was fun! Loved the welcome bags, fully furnished kitchen with coffee & filters, TV in every room & I actually figured out how to use the ComCast - so my 10y/o granddaughter was happy watching Disney+. Again, the location was superb - and just what I wanted! The price was appropriate for the location and San Francisco. Thank you for making my trip a success!

I am so happy I decided to stay here. I’m an SF local but wanted to do a little staycation outing locally and had StayPineapple on my list. This place was perfect, super quiet and amenities were just as pictured. The lobby is very large and has ample seating space to take meetings, interviews, etc.

We stayed in Berkeley to attend the Kraftwerk show at the Greek Theater. We really enjoyed staying in such a unique and fun place. As music fans, it was neat imagining how the unit was used as a recording studio. We enjoyed taking a shower under the green foliage and eating breakfast in the lush patio. Super fun!! Erin was friendly, communicative and hospitable throughout our entire stay. A true super host!! Will definitely come back next time we’re in town. Thank you!

424 - Boutique, Unique Hotel Room in Union Square

Great place to stay, esp if you have limited budget and moderate expectations. Classic style hotel with grand center stairway, clawfoot bathtub, sloped hardwood floors and delightful staff. Situated rather close to restaurants, transit, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc. High-brow Union Square is one block away; this place is about 1/3 their hotel pricing. Front desk staff (Lan and Meghan?) were super helpful and friendly, with check-in and check-out a breeze. Each "hotel" room has dedicated bath, though there's a shared bath or toilet in the hallway for longer-termers like students. I felt completely safe inside and outside. My room 424 was completely quiet, unusual for San Fran, due to it being on a type of internal breezeway. Yes, July weather was warm but evenings were cool enough without AC or fan. I'd pick this place again, even for business traveler on company dime.

What a great place in a great location. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious and a great value. Loved the old style elevator. This place has so much character. I’ll be back.

This is for a room at the WorldMark hotel, which is a timeshare, but there was no hard pitch from the employees. Clean space with a microwave, mini fridge, and sink, plus plates, bowls, silverware, and napkins. Very close to Union Square and lots of restaurants, and less than a mile walk to Salesforce Millennium Tower (which is why I booked it). Internet is extra ($5 for two devices for a day, and multi-day offers). Sanford was responsive and helpful. I would stay here again.
