We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Friendly heloful unobtrusive host. Private space . Great base to explore Teignmouth and Shaldon. Highly recommended

Enjoyed our stay in Allison's lovely apartment. It was very comfortable and we appreciated the styling. Allison was friendly and accommodating throughout.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

Lovely. Lovely and peaceful location walking distance to the beach and shops. However do need to be fit and able as steep incline and steps up from the beach .

Had an absolutely amazing stay and Susan was informative and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Amazing views at the location and the hot tub made it even better. Cannot fault a single thing with this location and we will definitely be booking again! Would definitely recommend to others.

We came to Mat and Megan’s flat for a friend’s birthday, we loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the lake and we also walked to a nearby beach and visited Torquay. The flat had everything we needed and was very tidy. The sound of the waves was very relaxing. We arrived early and Mat messaged us back straight away telling us we could check in early which was great. Overall, a great location and great hosts. Very well thought out.

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

Beautiful house, fantastic location, easy access to pubs, shopping and the beach. We had a lovely time and the house was very clean and comfortable. The only negative for us as a family of 4 adults was how compact the bedrooms were and lack of storage for clothing. The double bed does need a new mattress as it’s very soft and is up against a wall so for elderly people this proved difficult. Apart from that I would highly recommend Amy’s property.

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars. Goodrington was a lovely sun trap out of the wind, we loved Cantina! The beds were so comfy and every room so light & spacious.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Beautiful location. The outside area and views are stunning. Everything you need for relaxing summer nights. Inside the house is comfortable. Dining table was large and great for family meals and games. The shared bathroom upstairs did not have a shower, this wasn't too much of an issue but would be a useful addition. The downstairs bathroom was great for disabled or those with mobility issues, however, the downstairs bedroom would not be suitable for everyone with mobility issues, the bed it very high and the trundle is very low. My older parents couldn't manage either bed. luckily they can still get up and down the stairs so were able to use one of the upstairs rooms. Also, when the trundle is in use, there is very little room to move around. Downderry itself is lovely with great restaurants and pub. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Yardley House for it's location and amenities. Mark was a great host and responded to all queries. Great holiday. Thank you!

This house was beautiful with beautiful views and a lovely garden. The house was bigger than I expected which was perfect for what I needed it for. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this place for a break. Beautiful house, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Walkable to some nice local pubs and to a couple of beaches (although a steep climb back up). Simon was extremely responsive and communicated well with us.

Matthew was a fantastic host, extremely prompt with his reply clear instructions and plenty of recommendations. the apartment was better than the pictures. beautifully decorated, with so much space. Location is in the heart of the town so perfect for a seaseaside break in a Teignmouth. We will definitely be booking again!

Our stay here for the weekend was wonderful. The flat is lovely and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The location is great - we enjoyed a day out in Plymouth and one at Paignton Zoo. Karen was super informative and made the check in process really straightforward, and included a great guest info book in the flat with loads of recommendations. We would happily recommend others to stay here!

Right from first contact Lynne was helpful, kind and generous, and her apartment is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything that you could need or want. The views from the balcony are incredible and the apartment is only minutes from the beach, cafés, pubs and restaurants. We have stayed in quite a few apartments around the marina, but this by far has been the best.

The flat was clean and very tidy, it had everything we needed. The communication was very good. Great location, would definitely stay again.

The fact that this has been our third stay at this cosy little flat says it all really. It's a little bolt hole of heaven. The location is superb, in the heart of Teignmouth but quiet and peaceful with free on street parking nearby. The little garden has the sun all day and there are ample sunbeds and seating for two. Our host Luke couldn't be more welcoming and the little treats of Prosecco and Devon tea is a welcome respite after after a long trip. Thank you so much Luke.

We enjoyed our stay in Sonia’s flat. Very well situated. Allocated parking . The flat was spotless, spacious and light and airy. Very comfortable. Would recommend a stay there. Plenty to do in Dawlish and good location to travel further. Train station close by and buses. The local co op supermarket was well stocked. Thank you.

Perfect place to stay with my elderly parents for some house hunting in Seaton. Walkable to Local shops and restaurants, disabled parking almost right outside with no time limit. Helen also organised a parking permit for the local handy parking which I used too. The living space was open plan and very comfortable. Helen provided some milk and other extras which was kind and super useful. The bedrooms were pretty and nicely done and there was a lovely hot shower. Helen was super helpful.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.
