There are two pubs serving food daily and the Marina Bar with its excellent cuisine. A perfect base to explore the salt marsh coast with its extensive walks Maldon is only a short drive away which is a buzzing coastal town

Despite its serene setting, you're never far from the fun being within easy reach of Clacton on Sea.

The Den is a charming and welcoming detached annex. Set in an idyllically peaceful and picturesque location with open-plan living and bifold panoramic windows that open directly on to a loggia with Log Burner. There are further outdoor seating areas in the Herb Garden and Hedge Box, where you can take in the expansive skies, Suffolk is renowned for. We are only a 30 min drive from the glorious Suffolk Coast where we have a traditional Beach Hut that is available for hire in Old Felixstowe.

"Oak Meadows" - Alresford, Essex

Our traditional timber cabin is nestled within the charming countryside of North-East Essex. This rural retreat for two promises a perfect blend of comfort and convenience making it ideal for a relaxing break. The cabin stands alone in our garden with lake and rural views. From the cabin, scenic walks and cycling paths with vast open skies beckon. Nature enthusiasts and dog walkers will be thrilled by the birds and wildlife in our area and the stunning views around the local lakes.

Treat yourself with a peaceful escape from reality at The Skippers Retreat. Situated on Coopers Beach, East Mersea there really is lots to do! Whether you choose to go crabbing, explore the island or just use as a base. With a good variety of choice to fill your staycation! - Entertainment passes are available to buy from reception on site, this gives your family access to the swimming pool, the boathouse & all the entertainment provided! - Towels aren’t provided unless requested.

Perfect location for countryside walks, but also close enough to walk into the local town. The Mersea Retreat

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in a serene retreat at this bright two bedroom spacious caravan nestled within the picturesque West Mersea Holiday Park. A few minutes walk from the beach, restaurant, cafe and convenience shop. Great place for taking long walks and exploring Mersea. The caravan has a fully equipped kitchen including an airfryer. Bedding and towels are provided. Can accommodate a travel cot inthe main bedroom.
