Morston is a pretty village on the north Norfolk coast with heaps to do. The AONB and Norfolk coastal path is just minutes away for fabulous walks, the sea, sailing, birdwatching, fresh sea air and the beautiful salt marshes. Surrounding Area - Wiveton Cafe and PYO fruit farm (famous for the Normal for Norfolk TV documentary) and Blakeney village for mud-sliding and crabbing are both within easy reach by foot or bike. There are many other National Trust properties and other attractions to visit too. Just 10 minutes away is the Warham Iron Age fort - a must for a picnic on a sunny day. There are also plenty of historic churches to visit - Binham Priory, Cley, Salthouse, Wiveton to name but a few. A walk from Morston to Stiffkey (1-1.5 hour) along the coastal path followed by a pub lunch is ideal. There are golf courses, farm shops and farmers markets...the list is endless. The market towns of Holt (10 mins) and Burnham Market (20mins) and the village of Cley (5 mins) are great for shopping, cafes, fish shops, a bookshop and delis. The Spar shop in Blakeney the next village is great for essential supplies and is open until 10pm most if not every day. This really is the perfect base for enjoying and exploring the beautiful north Norfolk Coast.

🌈 Recently featured in an article in Norfolk Magazine as one of Norfolk's top 8 Airbnb's with the following review; “If you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air you’ll love this old two-bedroomed fisherman’s cottage found just a short walk away from the shingle beach in Cley near Blakeney. The interior is whimsically decorated with lots of fun, local art on the walls. Guests talk of beautiful views across the marshland and the local deli as added perks". Also with high speed fibre optic WiFi!! ❤️
THE COTTAGE~ ⭐️Built in 1850, Mallard cottage is a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage with covered off-street parking in the heart of the village of Cley-next-the-Sea. Cley lies within the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the North Norfolk Heritage Coast.🌈 🌷The master bedroom has a king sized bed, an ensuite shower room and loo and a really good view over the reed beds of Cley. The twin bedroom is a good size and a lovely room which looks over a very pretty part of the village (photographed, as is the view from the master bedroom).😍 🧚‍♂️The family bathroom is very nice and light and is also a good size, benefitting from a double ended claw foot bath. 🍎Downstairs is a fully kitted out open plan kitchen, dining and living area. There are characterful pictures and paintings all over the walls and some books and games to choose from. 🍭The house has been refurbished to a good standard and has high speed Fibre Optic WiFi and a full range of Sky channels including Sky Sports. It also benefits from double glazing and a very good, new boiler and heating system so you should be warm and cosy all year round. The cottage is the winner of a 4 star Best of Britain self-catering award. PARKING~ 🚘There is off street parking at the property which has it's own covered parking space clearly marked 'Mallard' (photographed for scale with the listing of the cottage). The turning into the arch way is very steep and the space is tight for larger vehicles so whilst Range Rover's have been known to park there (normal sized cars are fine) drivers of large vehicles who aren't comfortable 'manoeuvring' into the off street space can find plenty of parking near by. Old Post Office Lane gives pedestrian access to the Fairstead where there is free off street parking with no restrictions. There is also the Village Hall where there is a free and large off street car park with no restrictions.
Cley-next-the-Sea is one of the prettiest villages on the North Norfolk coast. It is on the River Glaven 4 mi (6 km) north-west of Holt (3 miles) and east of Blakeney (2 miles). It lies within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the North Norfolk Heritage Coast between the villages of Wiveton and Salthouse. A few suggestions of things to do in and around Cley... The Wiveton Café is a must and is now open in winter as well having previously been solely open in spring and summer. It’s about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the cottage. Do check out their website. Artemis Cafe in Cley is always a good place from which to start a walk. turn right and right out of the cottage, it's about a 20 second walk away. They serve delicious coffee, cake, sausage rolls and salmon bagels directly behind Mallard Cottage and the famous coastal walk along the wall starts from their garden. The George in Cley does really good food, has really friendly staff and is about a two minute walk from the cottage. Picnic Fayre in Cley, less than a minute's walk from Mallard, is a fantastic deli with masses of locally sourced treats and depending on the season they serve really good homemade ice cream from a little hatch in the wall. Blakeney is about an 8 minute drive away or a beautiful hour and a bit long walk along the river wall. I never feel as if I've really had my 'Cley time' until I've done that walk. You don't need to go all the way if you're not big walkers but the look of the landscape and sky change almost hourly and and we never get bored of it. Cley beach is accessible by car (2 mins) or on foot (8-10 mins) if you turn left out of the cottage and through the village, past the windmill and you'll see signs for where to follow the path to Cley beach (also photographed with the images of the cottage). The Blakeney Hotel is probably the most 'get dressed up' place locally, although I have to admit we've never been as we never bring anything approaching the right wardrobe with us... It does look lovely and it has a good reputation and apparently stunning views. The White Horse also has a good reputation and is popular, with good food. I actually prefer the Anchor at Morston next to Blakeney. Blakeney is lovely and definitely worth a visit but it can be seriously packed with day-trippers in high season so at the risk of sounding like a snob, it's better to be a bit outside it and Cley is a much nicer place to stay... Morston and Blakeney also offer Seal trips which are really fun to do depending on the season so it's worth looking on local websites. 'Beans' seal trips is one of the companies. The Cley Smokehouse directly opposite the cottage serves amazing sea food. People travel from miles around to stock up on their crab and their fish soup so we are very lucky (it's pictured in the view from the twin room in the pics of the cottage). There are galleries and a lovely pottery and book shop in Cley, plenty of shops and galleries in Blakeney and some of the best birdwatching in Britain at Cley Spy and in Salthouse which is the next village in the other direction from Wiveton and Blakeney (turn left for Salthouse, in the same direction as you walk for the beach). There's also a great pub in Salthouse called the Dunn Cow with fantastic views across the marshes from the large garden and good food. For Bird Watchers the cutting-edge, sustainable visitor centre at Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Cley Marshes Nature Reserve is a must. It has it's own café and some of the best bird watching in the country. The Coast hopper bus has bus stops in both directions from outside Picnic Fayre (about a one minute walk from the Cottage). It runs a good and regular service although personally I prefer to walk as much as possible and everything I have mentioned is walking distance, obviously depending on what you consider walking distance to be/if you have toddlers etc. The marshes around Cley are internationally important for their populations of rare breeding and visiting birds. Cley Marshes bird reserve has been in the care of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust since 1926, making it the oldest county Wildlife Trust reserve in Britain. Among resident breeding birds are Avocet, Bearded Tit, Bittern, Marsh Harrier and Spoonbill. Winter visitors include Brent Geese, Wigeon, Pintail and many species of wading birds. Cley, like neighbouring Salthouse is ideally situated at the apex of the North Norfolk coast as a staging ground for passage migrants, vagrants and rareties of all kinds. An eco-friendly visitor centre opened in 2007 containing a café, shop, viewing areas (including viewing from a camera on the reserve), exhibition area, interpretation and toilets. The view from the visitor centre across the Marsh to the sea is breathtaking. Cley Marshes is the home of the Bird Information Service, publishers of Birding World. The shingle bank holds large numbers of Yellow Horned Poppy. The Grade I listed medieval church of St Margaret's, Cley is the largest church in the Blakeney area dating from (phone number hidden) Cley was once one of the busiest ports in England, where grain, malt, fish, spices, coal, cloth, barley and oats were exported or imported. The many Flemish gables in the town are a reminder of trade with the Low Countries. Some of the buildings that once lined the quay remain, notably the 18th-century Cley Windmill which was used as a backdrop of the 1949 film Conspirator with Elizabeth Taylor. Cley Mill has often been depicted by local artists and was the subject of a painting by the 20th century English landscape artist, Rowland Hilder. In the late 19th century Cley became a holiday resort. The poet Rupert Brooke was staying in Cley when news came that Britain had entered what was to become the First World War. Brooke had dreamt about the war and woke to find it a reality. He did not speak to his hosts all day until his host said, "But Rupert, you won't have to fight?" to which Brooke replied, "We shall all have to fight". We hope you will go ahead and book! I’m sure you’ll love Cley as we do! Melissa (✿◠‿◠)

Fo’c'sle is a delightful detached timber clad retreat, located in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside just a short drive to the coast and one of North Norfolk's best restaurants, the Wiveton Bell, making it ideal for couples to both relax and explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fo’c’sle, (pronounced Folksall), is an old fashioned word for forward castle, the part of a ship with the sailors' living quarters. Set in the heart of the glaven valley, you don’t have to worry about the sea conditions to enjoy this peaceful hideaway!. Attractively furnished with many of the finishing touches coming from the local potttery/gallery “Made in Cley”, the open-plan ground floor offers a well-equipped compact kitchen, a bright kitchen/dining area with double doors opening into the private courtyard and a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove. On the first floor you are greeted with a large bedroom with picture window providing lovely views over the church and valley and a comfy king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The cottage is looked after by the owners who live next door, who can give great tips on what to do and where to go in the local area. Nestled between the coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea, Wiveton is an ideal location to enjoy the beauty of the glaven valley with its wildlife, birdlife and walking opportunities, whilst being located just one mile south of the coast road. There is an excellent bus service operating along the A149 coast road, the 'Coasthopper' which is great for walkers in that the bus route shadows the Norfolk coast path. This enables one way walks to be undertaken with relative ease and is a great way of visiting the coastal villages without the need to use your car. The Wiveton Downs is a registered "Dark Skies" site where it is possible to see the northern lights, or aurora borealis, and this area of the UK boasts some of the darkest skies in the country being that it is unaffected by light pollution and so making it ideal for star gazing. Additional Information Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Unfortunately this property is not suitable for infants or children. The bed has synthetic bedding. Logs are provided for the wood burning stove. Ground Floor: Sitting room Ample comfortable seating, wood burning stove, flat screen television with Freeview and a DVD player. Kitchen A well equipped kitchen with slimline dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob with cooker hood over, under counter fridge with a freezer ice box. Dining room Dining table with seating for two guests and double french doors leading into the courtyard garden. Cloakroom Wash basin and WC. First Floor: Master bedroom A lovely bright room with king-size bed and a large picture window with views over the glaven valley and neighbouring property. En-suite shower room Walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: There is a west facing courtyard with terrace and lawn area, with ample garden furniture. Please note the the courtyard is not secure for dogs. Off-road parking for one car is available to the side of the cottage.

Lovely little cottage for two in Blakeney near quay. Perfectly situated in centre of traditional village and near to great restaurants. The cottage has kitchen, sitting room, double bedroom with ensuite. Also private outside area
Good position near to Blakeney Point seal sanctuary. Wonderful walks. Great pubs and restaurants
Blakeney is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt coastal villages in England. The jewel of the Norfolk coastline it is full of traditional cottages and right on the coast, the traditional quay and mini beach are at the end of the road. The best beach in Norfolk, Holkham, is a drive of approx ten minutes along the coast. Lovely traditional seaside village with a traditional quay with boats coming and going, lovely walks along the salt marshes and coast, mini beach, great paddling, mini canoe hire for children. Crab fishing off the quay. The best beach is Holkham beach, very sandy and lots of space, sand dunes etc. This is to the left along the coastal road. Wells has a good beach as well and the village is nice for looking around. Going right along the Coast road are shingle beaches. Sheringham and Cromer. There is a pier at Cromer. Best shops are in Holt. Lovely old market town. There is a small supermarket in Blakeney within walking distance. Go down to the quay and turn left. Also a small variety of interesting shops. Places to eat within easy walking distance are two pubs child friendly, the Kings Arms and The White Horse. The Moorings for slightly more expensive meal, but they also do lunch and coffee. Two hotels that do food The Blakeney Hotel and The Manor, a lovely little cafe at the Methodist Church in the High St. for lunch and coffee, good value and children’s toys. Stately Homes to visit, Holkham Hall, Blickling and Sandringham. For a real treat Morton Hall, run by TV chef Galton Blackiston. In the summer you will find a caravan on the quay selling lovely crab sandwiches and also an ice cream shop near the quay. The harbour rooms usually have local bands at weekends. The village hall has antique fairs and there are often sales of crafts near the quay. The seal trip is a must. You can buy tickets at the bottom of the road.

Perfect for couples or small groups the property has been furnished to the highest standard. This spacious retreat is perfect for couples or a family of three wishing to relax and enjoy the natural wonders of North Norfolk as well as Blakeney’s traditional pubs, restaurants and boutique stores.
The stylish open plan living space incorporates a sitting room bathed in natural light with a traditional and sympathetically restored sash window to the front aspect. You will also find a cast iron wood burning stove, comfortable dining table and sofa as well as a bookcase filled with a collection of good reading material. The property benefits from an array of traditional features reflecting its period character which are complimented by the use of traditional materials and Farrow & Ball paint. The newly fitted integrated kitchen brings the cottage up to date consisting of a Bosch electric oven with halogen hob, fridge, washing machine, Russell Hobbs appliances, wooden work tops and quarry tiles. The large modern bathroom includes a full sized bath and superb ‘rain style’ shower head as well as under floor heating. Leading from the sitting room you will find an easily accessible wide staircase which takes you onto a hallway where the bedrooms are accessed. Bedroom one is a beautifully decorated dual aspect double bedroom with coastal views over neighbouring rooftops and also has a cast iron fireplace. Outside, this beautiful cottage benefits from a small outbuilding to store and dry wetsuits, bikes, crabbing gear, fishing rods, wellington boots or other such items. Sitting at the end of one of the prettiest lokes in the stunning and well maintained desirable coastal village of Blakeney, 55 High Street is perfectly situated to visit all year round. For foodies or those simply seeking pure relaxation, the cottage is surrounded by traditional pubs, restaurants and delicatessen of this historic North Norfolk village. We are eager to make sure everything is done to make your stay in our cottage as enjoyable as possible. We own and manage this property from our base in the neighbouring village of Stiffkey so we will be on hand to offer any help or advice you may need. Outside and garden To the front of the property there is lovely antique bench with a beautiful table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine with a glass of wine or fresh coffee from the local delicatessen. Testimonial: Alan & Jill from Derbyshire - Really lovely cottage. Great location. Perfect for our needs. The only regret is that we could not stay longer. We will certainly return, it is just a matter of when!
Surrounding area Blakeney must be one of the most sought after coastal villages in North Norfolk. The whole coastal area, much of it owned by The National Trust, is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, attracting both sailing enthusiasts and ornithologists. The village retains a unique atmosphere with many of the old mariners’ and merchants’ houses remaining in its narrow streets with others tucked away in flint walled alleyways. The main street runs down to the Quay with its salt marsh and channels, with Blakeney Point beyond. There is a surprisingly wide selection of shops, public houses and hotels. A wider range of amenities can be found in the Georgian town of Holt, about 5 miles to the south.

Blakeney is such a lovely unspoiled part of the British coast, with its timeless charm, beautiful scenery and lovely walks, it makes a holiday or short break a pleasure. The cottage is in the heart of Blakeney, not far from all the lovely places to eat and unusual shops.
We love the walks along the saltmarshes, Holkam, beach, ten minutes drive along the coast and the best beach in Norfolk. Cromer pier. Crabbing on the quay. Walking to see the seals at Blakeney Point, or taking a boat trip. Eating at the Mooring Bistro, in the same road. The observatory at nearby Salthouse. Cookies for an inexpensive seafood meal. The two steam engine lines and Thomas the tank engine for children. The sea museum and the shell museum. Nearby Holt with all the antique shops.

Oystercatcher is a charming, traditional two bedroom Norfolk fisherman’s cottage situated on the High Street just a short stroll from Blakeney Quay and all of the village amenities. Perfect for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life this property has been recently updated and now has all of the modern requirements required whilst retaining every bit of its coastal cottage charm.
Upon entering the cottage in to a long entrance hallway you will find the living room on your right with a lovely, comfy sofa, and arm chair perfect for snuggling up in front of the gorgeous wood burning stove. In the corner is a dining table that will comfortably seat four. Neutrally decorated and opened up to the kitchen, this room feels very light, airy and welcoming. From the living room, down a small step is the traditional, small but well-equipped kitchen which has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. The kitchen is tastefully decorated and allows access back through to the entrance hall off which is the ground floor shower room and the door out to the wonderful enclosed courtyard garden which has a pretty table and chairs set, perfect for sitting and sipping a glass of wine on a warm sunny evening. Back inside and to the front of the house is the good sized double bedroom. Up the original, steep ‘Norfolk Winder’ cottage stairs from the sitting room is the large twin bedroom which looks out over the high street. This room has a good sized en-suite bathroom. There is a pull out bed that we can set up in the upstairs twin bedroom to sleep 3 guests. Extra charge applies.

Bramble Lodge offers self-catering, cosy holiday accommodation for two people and dogs in the heart of the North Norfolk coast. Relax and enjoy majestic landscapes, breathtaking walks and the pleasures of coastal life in Blakeney. Whether it’s bird watching, rambling or simply some time out by the sea, the Annex offers the perfect base to unwind and explore the joys of coast. Bramble Lodge has shared ample parking, a private patio and is only a short walk from Blakeney Quay, pubs and shops.
Comfortable accommodation for two and is well-equipped with all modern facilities and has distant views of the Marsh from the bedroom. The private patio is secure for dogs as it has a fence all round with a gated entrance.
Blakeney lies on the North Norfolk coast where the River Glaven meets the sea. Blakeney Point is a 4 mile long shingle-sand spit that is home to numerous migrating birds and a large seal colony. Sheltered by the Point and banked by salt marshes, ‘the Pit’ is the silted up estuary of the River Glaven where the current Blakeney Quay channel flows into. Prior to silting up, Blakeney used to be one of the busiest medieval ports in the country. Now it is a picturesque coastal village that offers numerous opportunities to view the local wildlife and stunning landscapes. Whether it’s walking, bird watching, sailing, a boat trip to the Point or simply enjoying local village shops, pubs and restaurants, Blakeney has something for everybody and is enjoyable all year round.

Quiet and pleasant location within the heart of the village - all amenities are within a five minute walk and the beach is a 20 minute walk away. The bedroom has a super kingsize bed, which converts to 2 singles if required (please give me 24 hours notice). The en-suite bathroom has underfloor heating, heated towel rail and a full sized bath with rain drencher and handheld shower. Tea and coffee available, continental breakfast provided if requested.

NEW: ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING Reef House offers a one-of-a-kind experience to stay in a newly refurbished, self contained studio annex. This warm and welcoming accommodation is in the beautiful village of Blakeney, ideally located for guests wishing to spend time on the picturesque North Norfolk coast. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the High Street and 5 minutes to the coastal path. Blakeney is served by the excellent Coastal Hopper bus service which runs along the coast.
Reef House annex is a large, studio space located in a quiet, tucked away area of Blakeney in our family house. It is important to start by saying that we have 3 boys (9, 11 &13) and 3 dogs so if you are after complete peace and quiet then this may not be the perfect choice of stay. We promise to stay out of your way unless you need something and to keep the noise to a minimum. We are almost entirely surrounded by beautiful trees but, with two sets of french doors, the annex accommodation is light and airy. There is a brand new modern kitchen, fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. (If you need something that I have overlooked then you are very welcome to borrow from me!) The living space comprises a dining table and four chairs as well as a comfy sofa. There is a luxurious king-sized bed, complete with beautiful brand new bedding ensuring that, combined with all the sea air, you should get a wonderful night's sleep. There is also a lovely, velvet armchair in the sleeping area which is perfect for curling up with a good book. The bathroom is clean and modern and has a bath so you can enjoy a long soak and hours of walking along the coastal path. Please note that there is not a shower; however, there is a shower fitting on the bath taps for hair washing etc. The annex is well stocked with books, board games and DVDs and wifi for any rainy days. There is also a selection of material about local amenities and places of interest, as well as some OS maps and booklets on local walks. Although there is no private garden space with the annex, you are just a stone's throw from the quay where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is private, off road parking for one car for guests. PLEASE DM BEFORE BOOKING IF YOU WANT TO BRING A DOG.
Whether you want a quiet escape or an active break Blakeney has it all: scenic coastal walks, sailing, crabbing, a large village park with tennis courts and a good choice of places to eat and drink. There is a well stocked village shop as well as a delicatessen stocking local produce and a wonderful fishmongers selling fresh, local fish. There are a number of lovely galleries and shops in Blakeney, selling everything from clothes to bits and bobs for your house or presents to take home. Blakeney used to be a busy fishing village however now it is mainly used for private sailing and seal trips out to Blakeney point. There is something here for everyone here: we would highly recommend a glass of wine on the terrace at The Blakeney Hotel at sunset whilst the boys would suggest mud-sliding in the quay! Further afield, there is a whole host of beautiful places - far too many to list them all but here are a few of our favourites: -Blakeney church tower - great start to your visit (if you have a head for heights) to see 360 degree views -Wells-next-the-sea -lovely town and beautiful beach. The BEST fish and chips at French's opposite the quay -Holkham Hall - amazing house with lots of events, walled garden and huge parkland with deer -Cley - you can walk there from here (2 1/2 miles) Try the smokehouse for amazing local smoked fish -Cromer - old fashioned seaside town with a pier and lovely beach -Seal trips from Blakeney quay and Morston quay -Holt -almost entirely independent shops on the High Street

Pretty traditional cottage in the historic village of Blakeney, North Norfolk. Fronting onto walled garden yet very near the quay and the lovely places to eat. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, it has many traditional features
Really traditional Blakeney cottage near the quay. Although the address is High Street it is reached by going down a flint walkway opening up into a delightful large walled garden with several little cottages around it. We have our own space with a table and chairs so guests can enjoy eating outside in the summer. The cottage is lovely in winter as well with an open fire and heating. The cottage sleeps four maximum with a standard sized double room with ensuite and a small twin. There's also a family bathroom with bath and shower downstairs. Redecorated throughout early 2018 and new kitchen appliances fitted including fridge, oven hob and extractor.
Blakeney is known as the Jewel of the Norfolk coastline. Beautiful unspoilt and unique. Lovely restaurants and gorgeous views Lovely traditional seaside village with a traditional quay with boats coming and going, lovely walks along the salt marshes and coast, mini beach, great paddling, mini canoe hire for children.

Bird Box is a traditional Norfolk 'brick and flint' cottage which has recently been restored to reflect modern living whilst retaining its Victorian character.
Bird Box cottage is set in a little Square tucked behind Byfords Holt's landmark restaurant/deli . You'll be in the very heart of Holt with all the local shops and restaurants a stroll away. The cottage is a one bedroom Victorian terrace which has recently been sympathetically and lovingly restored.
Holt is a unique town with scores of independent shops and mouthwatering eateries. Bakers and Larners department store is a local landmark and its incredible food hall won the coveted National Food and Farming Award for best deli in 2019. The Black Apollo coffee shop is 'small but perfectly formed' and produce their own unique blends and roasts of coffee. If you like clothes you'll love Holt with boutiques brimming with treasures for your wardrobe! Holt is also very canine friendly and recently, 'Woofers and Barkers' a shop catering especially for our four legged chums opened on the High Street for the 'top dogs' in town.

🌈From the same hosts who run *Mallard Cottage* (with over 200 five ⭐️ reviews) is this beautiful fisherman’s cottage! 🦋 Built in 1850, with many original features, high-speed WiFi, Sky TV, central heating and double glazing, this cosy cottage is perfect for couples, families and friends looking for a coastal break in Cley or Blakeney 🥰. 💫In the prettiest part of Cley High Street 🧚‍♀️ with it’s own off street parking space and a short walk from the deli, café, shops and the beach!
🧚‍♂️Built in 1850 as a fisherman’s dwelling, Grebe cottage in Cley-Next-the-Sea, has retained many of it’s original features whilst having had important modern updates installed like high speed fibre optic WiFi, a very good central heating system and double glazing throughout. The upstairs consists of a double room with king-sized bed and far reaching views over the reed beds of Cley and a large twin room with pretty views over a quaint part of the high street. All three beds are in a classic French oak design by ‘Loaf’ with beautiful linen headboards and really comfy mattresses. The bathroom is also upstairs with a bath and shower and is freshly decorated with original photography by local artist Al Waters.😍 🌈Downstairs you will find a lovely, semi open-plan sitting room and kitchen as well as the pretty and light entrance hall. The kitchen, still supported with it’s original beams, has a fantastic Blomberg washer/dryer as well as a Nespresso machine, state of the art ‘40 second’ kettle and many other cool and colourful amenities!⭐️ 🍭The sitting-room is filled with modern French and Scandinavian furniture and boasts a 40” flat screen T.V with a full range of Sky channels including Sky Sports. We are also proud of our fibre optic, high-speed WiFi which not many people have in the area and which makes a big difference as mobile reception is pretty poor in North Norfolk!🌻 🚘The cottage benefits from its own, covered off street parking space which is gold-dust in Cley, especially in high season. The exterior of the cottage is painted in Farrow and Ball ‘setting plaster’ which is similar to the classic Norfolk and Suffolk pink of 1850. 🍀 🎈The whole cottage is newly decorated and kitted out with a really effective heating system and great double glazing insulation. It really is warm and cosy all year round!🍏 🦋The cottage can also be booked in conjunction with our sister cottage listed as Heart of Cley which is the adjoining property. This would give you 4 bedrooms (sleeping 8) as well as 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 off street parking spaces.🍓

Pimpernel Cottage is a beautifully restored Grade 2 listed brick and flint fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the small North Norfolk coastal village of Blakeney just yards from the quay.
Your comfort is our main aim, so we have filled the cottage with books and games that can be enjoyed in front of the wood burner in the winter or in the small communal courtyard, locally known as a loke, in the summer. The focal point of the living room is the real fire but the cottage has all 'mod cons' too with TV, DVD, ipod doc and DVD library. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob & oven, microware and Nespresso coffee machine. Up the original staircase (which is steep and therefore not suitable for toddlers or those with mobility issues) is the spacious master bedroom which has plenty of storage, reading chairs and comfortable double (4ft 6") bed. The modern bathroom is next to the bedroom, and has a shower over the bath. Outside is a shared courtyard garden and Pimpernel Cottage has its own corner, with table & chairs, which makes a delightful spot for a summer's lunch or relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day.
Pimpernel Cottage makes an ideal base to explore North Norfolk, Nelson’s county. It is adjacent to the Coastal path, and at any time of year you can simply open the front door and wander the 100 metres, passing the Kings Arms on the way, and take in the beauty of the marshes and the exhilarating sea air. We happily accommodate dogs and there are many fantastic walks locally with miles of beaches as well as the National Trust and English Heritage attractions abound in the area. Pensthorpe, for many years home to BBC’s Springwatch is a short drive away. The village of Blakeney was once a busy working port but is now used mainly for sailing and seal trips to Blakeney point - there are many boat trips to this three mile shingle spit, a magical place to visit for keen birdwatchers. The village has great selection of holiday amenities - great pubs, cafes, a delicatessen, fish shop, art gallery and small supermarket & post office catering for all your needs. All these attractions together with welcoming local pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area make Blakeney a superb location to relax and unwind.

**PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE BOOKING TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY, THANK YOU (longer let rates available), contact me** As soon as you walk into Brackley, you will notice the wonderful wallpaper by local artist Belynda Sharples. Brackley is a 3 bed bright & spacious house with a fantastic garden, in a beautiful village and great for dogs. The house is within walking distance of a pub and 2 miles to the sea. Fresh air, amazing countryside...Norfolk is amazing, come and see it!
Downstairs you have a spacious and bright living room, with a wood-burner and windows all around. The separate dining room has sliding doors leading to the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality items and has a beautiful window with garden views. It includes dishwasher, hand mixer, microwave, cake tins and so on. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and dryer. The garden is just gorgeous and runs all around the house, which means you can enjoy the sun all day long and kids can run around safely. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, each one with breathtaking field views! The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has a double bed and a large quality wardrobe. The third bedroom has very comfortable bunk beds. Langham is a pretty hamlet of detached flint houses and cottages, just two miles from the sea with neighbouring villages Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea just down the road. In Cley you will find galleries, tea rooms, Cley Windmill, and there's a gorgeous delicatessen which also sells fruit and veg. Blakeney, the bigger village of the two, has shops, galleries, pubs and The Blakeney Hotel, a small supermarket and a petrol station. We allow a maximum of two well behaved dogs. Downstairs only please.
This is such an amazing part of the world. Langham is full of houses made of Norfolk flint. It's idyllic! It's a very quiet village and we have a lovely local pub just a few minutes walk from the property. There is loads to do around here, for kids and adults.

A super, secret hideaway on the outskirts of Weybourne village, tucked down a private drive, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, coastal path and village amenities. As the name implies, Mill End forms part of a converted water mill (and still has the mill stream running through the garden) and retains many character features, with beams, vaulted ceilings and traditional Norfolk pamment flooring. To take full advantage of the distant views and private nature reserve, the open-plan living area with balcony is on the first floor with the two bedrooms (double and twin) and bathroom on the ground floor. The cottage's interior has colourful furniture and furnishings creating a contemporary, bright and fresh Scandi-style, which complements the building's character and brings it to life. The garden is a lovely spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon and the first floor balcony is just perfect for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. Mill End is a gem of a holiday property, and will suit all kinds of holidaymakers who enjoy beautiful, tranquil surroundings and looking for easy access to the coast and good local facilities. If you like walking, the coastal path takes you in an easterly direction to the coastal towns of Sheringham, and Cromer beyond - don't worry you can always catch the Coasthopper back! Just three miles inland, is the pretty Georgian town of Holt, a popular destination with a good selection of independent boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Mill End. Because the mill stream runs through the garden at speed, small children (and dogs) must be supervised at all times. Additional Information Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Individually controlled programmable modern electric panel heaters in all rooms. Access Note: The living area is on the first floor. There are external steps around the property. Ground Floor: Entrance Hall With Norfolk pamment flooring and vaulted ceiling. A staircase leads to the first floor. Master bedroom With a double bed and a double built-in wardrobe. Bedroom two With two full-size single beds and a built-in wardrobe. Bathroom With modern suite comprising bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. First Floor: Open-plan living area With high vaulted ceiling, side and velux windows and french doors leading out onto the decked balcony, which has a bistro table with seating. The fitted kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave, and fridge with icebox. The adjoining dining area has a table with seating for four. The sitting area has two two-seater sofas, a leather bean bag, widescreen television and DVD player. Outside: A large patio garden with mill stream, mostly laid to shingle, with seating areas and garden furniture. There are two designed parking spaces off the entrance driveway.
