The Hut in the Wild

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Fall into a fresh clean bed and wake up to the sound of the dawn chorus. Our bathroom barn provides all your needs for a morning freshen up!See you soon.

The property is situated on our working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, 2 miles from Malton. A perfect base for biking , walking or visiting the North Yorkshire moors , East coast or York. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton

Our converted barn offers a cosy, self-catering retreat for two with a woodfired hot tub, on our remote, but accessible farm in the North York Moors National Park. The Bothy is a self-contained, open space providing king sized bed, ensuite, kitchen, sitting area, outside terrace sun trap & free WiFi. The Bothy has been completed to an exceptionally high standard combining beautiful detailing and practicality. A great location for walking & cycling.

The grade 2 listed 'Charlotte Cottage' is the first in the run of former servants cottages. Brandrith Farm Cottage is a 1 bedroom dog friendly holiday let/ B&B situated in the Howardian Hills AONB on a working farm. 15 miles from York, 8 miles from Malton and on the doorstep to Castle Howard, The Yorkshire Arboretum in Castle Howard and Yorkshire Lavender. The Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Wolds and Coast are only a short drive away. Public footpaths and cycle routes directly from the cottage. Village stores, pubs and a bakery all within a 2 mile radius.
