Great host, lovely accommodation. Steve made us feel very welcome and then left us to it but was clear that he was always on hand should we need him. Great living space and kitchen with 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Suited our needs perfectly. Sky provided but limited Channels and it might have been nice to have access to Netflix/Amazon Prime etc.

We loved our stay at Chris’ bungalow - it’s homely and well kitted out, and very peaceful despite being a short walk into central Filey. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and summerhouse, and it was perfect being such a short walk to the beach and train station - ideal for a car free break. There are even children’s books, toys and buckets and spades so it’s great for families needing to travel light. Chris was friendly and responsive. We hope to visit again some time.

Beachview is a great find. The bungalow is perched on the cliff with great views out of the living room window and a grassed sitting area on two sides. Spacious lounge / open plan kitchen with a comfortable sofa. Adequate bathroom with over bath shower. Bed and bed linen very good. Very quiet location a few minutes from the centre of Hornsea. We were blessed with fabulous weather and loved just relaxing at Beachview bungalow.

This is a perfect place for a group who want to feel privacy, close to nature and still convenient travel. I could recommend it more and already have another visit booked! Ideal for good weather.

We know Beverley well as live reasonably close (15 miles) but Johns bungalow was the perfect location for a family wedding just a couple of miles away. The property is exactly as described and well equipped, it's much bigger than it looks from the outside, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A great view of The Minster from the back garden. Clear instructions from John re. check in and out. Information brochure full of handy suggestions for trips out and recommendations for local pubs and restaurants. The welcome pack, milk, bread, butter, tea and coffee, plus a variety of breakfast cereals was very much appreciated, thankyou. I have no hesitation in recommending Johns place to future guests. Un peu bruyant à cause des motards qui se donnent RV au café restaurant à côté du logement dès 7h du matin mais je recommande vivement le logement car spacieux pour 9 adultes 2 enfants et 2 bébés. Le jardin aurait besoin d'un peu d'attention. Séjour très sympathique dans tous les cas si vous avez envie de vous retrouver à plusieurs et visiter la région. Le café restaurant à côté propose pas mal de choix mais n'est pas ouvert en soirée. Le pub du village est accueillant aussi...

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

Perfect one night stay. Exactly as pictured, very clean and warm and has everything you'd need for a longer visit. In a lovely quiet area but still super close to both the city centre and the train station. Will definitely look to stay here again when I'm next in Durham!

This was our 2nd stay with Sally and Brian. Sally met us on arrival and talked through the changes since our last stay. A very peaceful setting. Just off a busy road with bus stops either side of the road. The location is quiet. We would be happy to stay here again.
