The Grange - Lower Barn Farm, Bodiam, East Sussex

The Grange at Lower Barn Farm is a quirky, rustic, converted detached barn designed with a touch of industrial components which makes for an ideal rural getaway. 70 acres of rolling country side and wooded grounds on the Kent and Sussex borders, complete with idyllic fishing lakes, are just waiting to be explored. There are woodland walks, an abundance of wildlife to be discovered and even the 14th century Bodiam castle, a 5 minute ride away, if you’re lucky you might even spot a kingfisher.

The Acorn Lodge is a bespoke 1 king size bedroom retreat fully customized with high-end finishes. It must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Leave the world behind at our organic smallholding hideaway – the perfect antidote to stress and modern life. This is a true romantic retreat for two, with space for up to four (extra bed available). The ancient woodland, the orchard, the old fashioned sheep, the hens, make this the place to unwind. In the evenings, dine and chat by the log stove or around a campfire. I didn't have to move to Devon, after all, because I found here.
