We had the best stay at Jockey Ridge. Two adults, a 10yo and a dog. The space was beyond perfect, inside and out! The location was EXACTLY what we hoped for and more. The host was as fantastic as the property. Her attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. We forgot a couple things, and to our surprise, it was included. Sound machine, etc. even poop bags for the dog! And a chew bone waiting for him outside. She made our vacation seamless. Not to mention being able to walk out the door and hike the beautiful sand dunes. Our 10yo loved sand boarding on a boogie board that she provided. We tried all the restaurants she suggested, and more. They were all a hit. What a special place! We booked it from what we saw online, out of hundreds of other locations, and something drew us to this place. And in person, it was better than we could have ever imagined. We hope to do it again next year, and maybe a couple times in between, too! Thank you Jockey Ridge. You made memories forever!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb overlooking the Currituck Sound! The location near the heart of Duck is hard to beat, with easy access to fantastic shops, restaurants, and local coffee shops. The views over the sound are stunning, and the peaceful setting made it a truly relaxing getaway for this time of year. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we were set for a smooth check-in. 10/10 would recommend!

My wife and I are kayaking the ICW and needed a place near the water to wait out a storm. Gia’s place is PERFECTLY located! We landed right in front of the apartment and it was easy to pull the boat out with the little boat ramp. Also, it is just across the water from the famous restaurant at Coinjock marina that everyone had been telling us about. Gia have lots of great instructions on how to enter, though the local recommendations were over the top (I think this is encouraged by AirBnB, though). Her responses were immediate, which helped us quickly decide to book with her because she is so proactive. The apartment is just as described, and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We liked having the little balcony with a view of the water. That is a nice feature!! The building itself is in need of some maintenance, though that won’t affect your stay. It seems as if a bunch of improvement work is underway at the premises, meaning this place will be even more amazing soon!

This is a fantastic unit for a couple (or best friends!) retreat. The location is perfect - directly across the street from beach entrance, walking distance to great coffee shops, local ice cream, surf shops, brewery, food, convenience stores, and more! I liked the house was at the end of a cul-de-sac so no traffic on the street. The host is very friendly and responsive with great directions. Check in/out was hassle free. I will definitely be coming back for a long weekend getaway!

Beautiful & peaceful home!! Walkable to many places and the beach. Tiffany was incredibly helpful & went out of her way to make sure we had a long list of suggestions for things to do, restaurants, etc. Spending time in the backyard was lovely. We will absolutely be back!!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Thomas’s place was perfect! Very relaxing, quiet, and serene. I enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The apartment had everything that I needed to feel at home. I do wish there was a TV in the bedroom, but other than that it definitely earned a 5-star review!

We found the apartment to be very comfortable, neat and tidy. We liked the location and the fact that it was away from the noise and traffic of the main road. The apartment fit our needs perfectly. We would certainly come back and stay here on a return visit to the Outer Banks.

I had been looking forward to this trip as an opportunity to make memories with our young adult children and it did not disappoint! The home was very clean, and sunrises from the dock were beautiful. The four bedrooms provided ample space for everyone yet the layout made it cozy and inviting. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock, close proximity to Manteo, and interacting with the friendly neighbors of the four and two-legged varieties. We had an amazing time! We typically never stay at the same home twice when we travel, but we loved our time at ‘Always Sonny’ and hope to return very soon!

Areca was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect -- quiet and relaxing, and a great launching point to many of the OBX sites and activities in the nearby area. You'll love this place!

Wonderful views and easy access to the water. Good place with young children. (We had a toddler and a baby as part of our group.) The sitting area in the master suite was a great place to play board games and chat in the evenings without disturbing the little ones sleep. Great deck with sturdy chairs of the correct height to see the ocean over the railing. Lots of restaurants nearby and grocery stores and even a Target less than 2 miles away.

Sheila’s place is exactly as described and was a perfect getaway for our small family. We had our two young kids and the abundant space in the main living area was perfect for play. The view and sunset was spectacular. Will definitely return!

We enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the beach traffic, but still being able to get anywhere that we wanted within 20-30 minutes. The view was wonderful and peaceful! Our 4 grandkids enjoyed the game room and there was lots of games to occupy their time. The house had everything that we needed, very well supplied! Cheryl was absolutely the perfect host! She checked on us upon arrival and during our stay to let us know that she was available if needed. This place is top notch, you will not want to leave! Already thinking of our next trip to Dock Landing!

We stayed at this house for a long weekend. It was a girls trip for my mom’s 86th birthday. We loved everything about the house! We had a rainy first day… But it didn’t bother us a bit! We stayed in our PJs in your lovely top floor and watched movies! Lisa was very helpful and answered any question I had quickly. We all agree that we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at No Worries was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking 360-degree views of the Roanoke Sound. The sunsets alone are worth the trip; truly a picture-perfect moment every evening. The home is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate a larger group comfortably. The two waterfront master bedrooms were a dream, offering peaceful views to wake up to each morning. For those of us who needed to catch up on a little work, the dedicated workspace and strong Wi-Fi were perfect. Self check-in was seamless, and Kelly’s hospitality as a Superhost shined through in every detail. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the comforts of home and more, No Worries is the place to be. We can’t wait to return, highly recommended!

The calm waves is super cozy and has everything a family with young kids needs (including some toys and baby proofing). It is in a great location that feels very family friendly and short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again!

Our stay was pretty perfect! The views were amazing and the condo was comfortable. Easily accessible, very close to a lot of really great places like Swells’a Brewing brewery, which is a 5 minute walk. Gene was very responsive and helpful, he made the stay a breeze! The condo was so clean and felt like home. We will definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time staying at Suite Caroline! it was perfect for our vacation! Shops were easily accessible and close by, and the private beach entrance was amazing! Very quiet condo and area. Communication with the hosts was 10/10 and they responded promptly! Would 10/10 come back and vacation here! :)

Having an active toddler led us to believe this was the most wonderful place to stay! Waking up on the beach and being able to sit on the balcony was wonderful. We were able to head to the beach and back easily. There’s so much to do around this area and it was a peaceful stay.

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! This was a wonderful place to stay-quiet, peaceful with lots of light and a beautiful view from the deck! The condo was beautifully appointed. It was also easy to get to the National Seashore. An added bonus was an easy ride to hook up with the bike path!
