It's ideally situated between Chester Zoo (10-15 mins walk) and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village (less than 5 mins drive) and also about 10-15 minute drive to Chester. It has a spacious, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with a separate bedroom (with king sized bed) and large walk-in wardrobe/dressing table. Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Charming Cottage perfect for Chester & North Wales

A cosy converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious views of North Wales in a peaceful setting with bulls and cows in our paddocks. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

Welcome to our charming shepherd’s hut, nestled away in a private woodland. The hut is equipped with a comfortable double-bed with space for a child’s bed if required. Shower and Flush toilet are within an upcycled boat wheelhouse 30meters away.
