A cabin perched a thousand feet up, where the birds glide past at eye level and the sky opens wide. The deck is a perch in the sky: golden hour lights the ridge at sunset, and after dark the stars take over — a lot of them, this far from city light. The hot tub sits in the open with nothing between you and all of it; a covered corner gives you a dry seat when weather turns. Fire pit out, fireplace in.
