Off Grid Converted Sugar Shack

This little rustic OFF GRID converted sugar shack is perfect for a quiet getaway. There are 2 solar panels that feed the lighting and water pump; limited, non-drinking water for the 2 sinks (summer only); and compostable toilet. There is no shower, no oven and no fridge. A cooler, an urn of drinking water and firewood are provided. The shack is on our 35 acre property, with our home 500ft down the lane. You will have access to our property to walk through the maple forest and wildflower meadow.

It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your CANOE on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of TRAILS for you to hike or snowshoe. Welcome to Puerto Benoir, a water front cottage on Benoir Lake. This cottage has been renovated from top to bottom and is right on the edge of Algonquin Provincial Park. Satellite TV with premium programming and WIFI high speed internet with unlimited data is included. Gradual entry into the sand bottom lake is what you will find. The cottage has a dock which can hold boat, and there is a swim raft out in the bay. The cottage has 2 paddle boats, 2 kids kayaks and 2 adult kayaks.
