It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Not forgetting the amazing ice cream parlour. Lots of activities available from walking cycling canoe and paddle boarding.
