Beautifully situated just above Lake Semerwater in Raydale , the quietest valley in Upper Wensleydale. Perfect for walkers, fishing & paddle boarding on the lake In its own grounds away from the lane, entirely private & south facing, the old mill stream runs alongside, the house has amazing views and is a haven for bird life which gathers on the lake shore.

Situated in the unique position of having it’s feet in Gunnerside Ghyll, totally detached and in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Debra Cottage abounds with character. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Entire Home Bargate Little cottage with log burner

Cozy one bedroom Cottage with log burner; located just down the hill from Richmond Market Place. One bedroom upstairs. Kitchen, diner and lounge are all the same area with a sofa bed on the ground floor. Underfloor heating downstairs. Bedding and towels are provided for guests. Plenty of walks directly from the cottage the river being just around the corner. The castle walk is 2 minutes away. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Richmond has everything you need for a fabulous break.

A cosy cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales

Surrounded by the stunning Yorkshire Dales, this quaint stone built cottage offers a fabulous base for two from which to explore the area. The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes’ walk from the pretty Georgian square in the centre of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We offer a place of perfect tranquility and that longed-for country escape just for two. The last few miles of your journey to the sleepy Hamlet of Hurst should give you a glimpse of the stunning scenery you will be enjoying for your stay. Tucked away at the end of a track you can be assured of peace and quiet.
