Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

You will have your own private outdoor area with seating, fire pit and BBQ. Private off road parking provided. Pets are welcome.

Hot tub is £80 payable on arrival. Our luxury glamping pods are home from home with all cooking facilities, Fully fitted en suite, Double bed and sofa bed. We supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. We supply a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast could be supplied in you require. Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too. Small airfryer, small freezer and fridge.

Perfect for walking or cycling holidays or just for people who want to relax in and explore the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and its rich heritage. Recently converted it is modern, comfortable and accessible whilst still retaining its original charm of a cowshed!

The Snug - Bardon Mill

The Snug a self contained studio flat with it's own access separate from the main house It has a living/sleeping area, kitchen/dining area and shower room. The Kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven, kettle etc, and all of the kitchenware you will need during your stay. The Bedroom can sleep up to 2 adults. The Old Brewery Coach House.

This detached one bedroom Grade II listed stone built coach house is set in a private location adjacent to the owners' residence, with independent access and your own private off road parking. To the side is a private lawned area with seating. Pets welcome. The Coach House is set in a courtyard opposite Old Brewery cottage and next to my house.
