The Cottage in East Poultney

The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney next to the old Poultney schoolhouse (now historical society). Just over 1 mile to the town of Poultney. The sidewalk starts (or ends how you look at it) in front of the cottage which leads to town. Great for a walk or bike ride. Pico, Killington and Bromley Mountains all less than an hour drive. Plentiful fishing and boating opportunities. 3 miles to Lake St Catherine, under 10 miles to Lake Bomoseen. Slate Valley bike trails surround the area.

White & Black Cottage

The White & Black Cottage is a cozy home within walking distance of downtown Glens Falls. There is a Cumberland Farms and a Stewart’s a block or two away for quick food items. Glens Falls has numerous wonderful restaurants and there is a notebook with many of the menus in the house. There are art galleries, LARAC, The Hyde and the Shirt Factory. Live music and theatre is available at the Wood Theatre, the Park Theatre and Strand Theatre. We are 20 minutes from Lake George and Saratoga.

The Garden Cottage

This is a bright and airy carriage house located on the second floor in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Living room has a drop down movie screen, brand-new sofa with chaise and pull out queen sized bed. Galley kitchen is new with a Smeg stove and oven, dishwasher. Bedroom has a queen size adjustable bed, 52 inch TV with wifi and cable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk in shower a vanity with double sinks. This newly renovated carriage house is nestled in the Battenkill River Valley alongside a picturesque spring fed Marsh . The post and beam structure is private and quiet as it is distanced from my family home . The kitchen is stocked with a bounty of delicious local and organic self serve breakfast choices plus a wide range of organic coffees and teas.Please feel free to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

The Smithy Cottage at Consider Bardwell Farm

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.
