This snug, hand-built cottage features large windows and a deck looking toward Hague Lake and the rocky scapes of Turtle Island. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

The cabin offers a queen-sized bed with fresh linens, a fully equipped kitchenette with a gas stove, mini-fridge, pots, pans, cutlery, and coffees and teas, plus a newly renovated bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Just minutes from Mansons Landing’s co-op, café, and market, and near trails, beaches, and lagoons, it’s the perfect base for comfort and adventure.

Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.

Steps outside the front door is the crescent pebble beach perfect for a swim, paddle, or to simply soak up all nature has to offer.
