Tidy, warm, hot tub always a great perk, super close to everything downtown. Affordable, lots of cooking amenities, easy check in and out. Cozy. This is our second time staying there and plan to do so for every future trip to tahoe city!

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

This place was perfect for our family vacation. So much space, very comfortable beds, and kitchen had everything we needed. Great place and we would come again for sure. Thank you!

Kevin and Jennifer's stay was very comfortable, clean, and great location! they were very responsive and were flexible with our travel plans. We loved the location as we snowboarded every day and it was convenient to utilize the Northstar shuttle and be at the mountain in less than 10 mins! Rooms and beds were comfortable for our group of 8 ppl. We enjoyed the hot tub and massage chair as great bonuses after a day of snowboarding. Would definitely stay here again! Alex’s cozy cabin was perfect for our family get away. Although small it was perfect for the three of us and our pup. The backyard is serene and a great place to enjoy a quiet moment. The hot tub and steam shower are fantastic amenities that were a great addition. Location was perfect as we were a 5-10 min walk to the small beach and a short drive to incline village. We had a wonderful time!

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our two families with 3 kids had a wonderful time here. The location is perfect bc of its proximity to downtown Truckee and The Palisades ski resort. The kids had a blast sledding and building forts right in the yard. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace and beautiful views through the great room windows. Holly and Dave were really helpful and so accommodating. Looking forward to booking again.

This place was everything it said plus way more! Perfect family get away. If you are traveling with kids it’s perfect. Toys, baby gates, pack n plays, sledding hills and even anti choking kits. Used the sledding hill a ton but luckily avoided the anti-choking kit. Jokes aside, it’s one of the best thought out airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely, will come back for a summer get away with family and friends.

We totally enjoyed our stay at David & Meghan’s place. It was cozy, clean, and in the perfect location. It was close enough to grab coffee or a bite to eat but not too busy or loud. It gives easy access to the North edge of the lake and only a 45 minute drive to the South shore. The cabin itself was equipped with everything you could need for a short stay. They made our stay even more special with a bottle of champagne, as we were celebrating our anniversary. We would definitely go back again! Thanks for a perfect vacation spot!

Chris let us check in early. That was much appreciated. We did not realize we could walk across the street to Gar Woods.. a restaurant we frequent when we visit Tahoe. The place was clean and matched the photos. We used all 4 bedrooms for our 3 families and enjoyed spending time together. We lucked out on both weather and traffic.

This is in a great location for those who enjoy a quieter setting with great access to the shore, hiking, riding, and smalltown amenities. We traveled around Lake Tahoe and were grateful that we landed in the best area. The cottage comes with kayaks and paddle boards which more than pay for the cost of staying. We had a great few days! Definitely will check in here when we return to Lake Tahoe.

Chelsea's home is as advertised. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday celebration for my dad. We all were able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful scenery. The bedrooms were a nice size and the restrooms were clean. The mattress in the main room was a bit too firm for me. I decided to sleep upstairs on one of the softer beds. There are grocery stores 10 minutes out so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. The house manual was easy to follow and included some information on pet-friendly beaches which we appreciated since we had our pup with us. I LOVED the private beach access and dock. We had our paddle board and kayak and spent a lot of time in the water. My daughter enjoyed jumping off the dock and making friends with some of the other kids there (not a lot of kids...just the right amount to keep her entertained but not overwhelm me). I hope to make this trip an annual event!

A really great place to stay. I had taken my parents here for the weekend. The location is a few minutes away from the main road and is in a residential neighborhood. You get both proximity to the lake/shops and the seclusion you seek in a vacation. The house itself is really spacious and well furnished with lots of natural light. You can cook food, relax on the couch with a book and gaze outside at the tall trees. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms clean with all amenities. There’s fireplace heating operated via a Nest thermostat.

This was a great, private cabin located behind the Firelite Lodge. A little smaller than I had imagined, with not much room in the bedrooms, but it was fine for what we were needing. It's in an excellent location on the quieter north side of Lake Tahoe. Within easy walking distance there is Jiffy Pizza, Pep's Place for coffee and breakfast/lunch sandwiches, and an ice cream shop. Across the street there is a marina with a small, private, pebble beach to relax and watch the sunsets. Tahoe City and the marina are ~15-20 mins away where you can rent sailboat charters, sunset cruises, etc. We did not use the kitchen much, but it appeared to have put thought into stocking all the items you would need. The gas firepit on the front porch and the picnic table out back were also nice touches. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Tahoe.

This is one of our happy places. We'll be back as many times as Pete & Sonia will have us! The cabin is clean & comfortable. The location is fantastic: close to the lake and open space right out the backdoor. Pete is also incredibly responsive, welcoming, and kind.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Perfect location close to ski area (don't even have to get on the freeway). Beautiful home which felt like home away from home. Already looking at dates to come back .

Not to take the easy way out and just say ditto, ditto, ditto, to all the great reviews below, but it was was exactly so, awesome! Scott was a great host with all communication, including the booking, check-in and departure routines, a class act all the way. The property was just as portrayed in every way and made a great base camp for our family snowmobiling adventure. It's a classic cabin with tasteful and thoughtful updates, roomy, well laid out and clean as a whistle. The wood-burning fireplace is a nice touch. No concerns and no regrets whatsoever, our stay couldn't have been better.

Great stay! The house has a well stocked kitchen and is overall very well appointed. We were very comfortable and plan to stay here again in the future!

Gerald’s place was so comfortable and cozy. They made us feel right at home and were extremely easy to work and communicate with. The cabin is close to great food and things to do, but it was also so relaxing to light a fire and watch the snow fall. We would absolutely love to visit again.

Our stay with a couple of small families with toddler children was comfortable and fun! The house was very clean when we check in and the host was very quick to respond and communicate for any questions we had. Even offered us an extra high chair last minute! The open concept with the shared kitchen/dining/family room is a nice set up where everyone can be in one place at the same time and enjoy each other’s company while doing different things. They have some fun board games too! Overall great experience.
