David and his wife were the Best!! Their place was better than described! The walking trails to Faleiro restaurant and in town were perfect for us! Food in the area amazing. Fruit and Grechetto wine was provided in the apartment. 3 stories with 3 separate balconies to enjoy Lake Trasimeno and Mountains! If we return to Umbria IT it will be with David without question!! The best airbnb in Italy so far out of 5... Had a farewell beer and wine with David last night! Perfecto!!! Thanks so much. Jim and Jennifer

David's traditional Italian townhouse is full of charm and character with authentic architectural features in abundance! It has a cosy feel but is very spacious at the same time and there's plenty of room to relax. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the old town and the museum which were only a few minutes walk away. There was plenty to discover locally, including some excellent restaurants close by. Thankfully, the king size bed was very comfortable and we slept well both nights. We wanted to stay for longer, as we hadn't realised there was so much to see, so hopefully we'll be back next year for more wine tasting and wild swimming!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Stefania’s lovely house for a month, in the picturesque Citta della Pieve .. Stefania made us feel right at home.. and even made a delicious home made cake and had a basket of goodies for us on arrival. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean . The kitchen was well equipped to make meals if we chose .. or we could easily walk into the beautiful Historic Centre for a meal and breakfast at the many cafes on offer .We would definitely return and definitely recommend Stefania’s Airbnb! L'alloggio come da descrizione si presenta con un'ottima vista lago ed in una zona strategica per visitare tantissime bellezze del territorio. L'host è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, offrendoci anche un simpatico presente di benvenuto (caffè macino per l'intera nostra permanenza e colomba Pasquale). Il paesino di Monte del Lago seppure molto caratteristico, non offre grandi servizi raggiungibili a piedi (almeno ad Aprile), quindi non può essere un posto dove fermarsi per giorni senza mai riprendere bici/macchina. La vicinanza di una colonnina Enel X per ricarica delle autovetture EV rende particolarmente agevole la ricarica notturna della stessa, godendo di zero problemi per la ripartenza il giorno successivo. L'alloggio è veramente completo di tutto, compreso anche di Pay TV.

We delighted in our stay at Marcelo's place. His and Donna's renovation of a medieval, in-town house is impeccable. A substantial degree of professional interior design is evident in the minimalism, yet all works flow historically. The lower-level spa and sauna are hedonistic yet blend beautifully with the rustic ambiance. The technology underlying the works is largely absent from view - yet functional. The first floor features a kitchen which will not disappoint an avid chef. The sitting area is minimalist but softened by clever, "soft" upholstery choices, cushions and comforting throws. Selective sculpture and objects d'art complete the picture. The surface treatment of walls is superb, as if revealing centuries of habitation in layers, each agreeing with one another in terms of tone and pallet. The rendering and paint work is first rate. For the aesthete and practical traveller alike, Marcelo's place offers a considered, curated view into the past embraced by the present.

Bellissimo appartamento, come da foto. Situato in un recentissimo complesso di case che creano quasi un piccolo borgo. Per quanto sia dislocato (il che può essere un plus per chi cerca la tranquillità) a pochi km c'é un piccolo centro con il necessario. Host gentile e disponibile, raccomandata.

Great village side house. Very clean and luxury. Friendly Host. View of Assisi Mountain from room. Need to add wifi, microwave oven and air conditioners. Then the place will be paradise.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights to attend a wedding nearby. The house was very clean and homely and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice quiet area only a 2 minute walk to the supermarket/café and 15mins walk into the main city of Assisi so the location was perfect. Valentina was a fantastic host, very helpful with instructions and she was always very quick to respond to any of our queries. Would recommend to any group wishing to stay in Assisi as it was a seamless experience, thanks again Valentina!

Bellissima esperienza. Host gentilissimo e super disponibile. L’appartamento ha una bellissima vista ed è super confortevole per qualche giorno nella natura.
