Relax on the deck, throw some steaks on the grill, pour yourself a glass of wine, and take in the beautiful Lakefront view. Sorry but we do not have a dock. You may launch your boat at Plumas Pines Marina located 1/2 mile away. No early arrival unless pre-approved.

Launch your boat at the Marina ($40+/-) or Canyon Dam (Free) to have a fun-filled day of water sports or fishing. Visit Bailey Creek Golf Course, golf or play Pickleball at Lake Almanor County Club, visit local restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store, microbrewery, and gas station nearby.

Nestled among the trees, The Bunkhouse offers a tranquil retreat with a small creek in the backyard and a trout-stocked pond just a short walk away. It’s an ideal spot for families or a convenient home base for fishing enthusiasts. It features a secure backyard and dogs are welcome. It is situated above the garage with its own private entrance. Inside you’ll find a cozy fireplace, a stocked kitchen, and a bathroom. Upstairs, there’s a comfortable living room with a TV and two small bedrooms

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.
