Thanks to its location in the heart of town -- only 200 meters or 656 feet from the main street and central Square – guests can reach the central bus station, the supermarket, the post office, and a number of banks, café’s, gelaterias, and shops in a few minutes The apartment allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of the town and its varied amenities, as well as the pleasures of the sea, with its clear, clean water and full seaside beach facilities, The beach is close to town, and can be reached by bus (the bus stop a few feet from the apartment), bicycle, or by car. The long beachfront of Policoro is bordered by two rivers, the Sunni and the Agra, and is surrounded by pinewoods, which invite long, relaxing walks on foot or by bicycle. Beside the sea, there are many other attractions: •One can visit the National Museum of the Siritide, where one can see the art and archaeology of Greek influences ancient town known as Siris and Heraclea, flowering centers of culture and commerce of the Magna Graecia. •A few miles away is Metaponto, another city founded by the Greeks, with archeological ruins, the Palatine Tables, and its own museum.
