Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Had a lovely stay at Tracy’s place. Tracy was a wonderful host and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and clean. There is a pub and local parade of shops less than a 10 mins walk away and Torquay town centre is 20 mins down the road (the walk back is all uphill though). I would highly recommend this accommodation.

House was lovely, well equipped, great location. Very well located for our days out. We were 4 adults, and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely like to go back again.

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

The location was ideal for us, nice and quiet away from noisy roads. The place was really clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our long weekend. Comfy beds, heating works well, hot water and plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen for when we cooked. I would recommend staying here. Loads to do within a 30 minute drive. 25 minutes to Bude.

Stunning house in a gorgeous village just a short train outside of Exeter. Ideal and comfortable for our group of 11 to sleep, eat, relax and then travel into the city for an event over the weekend. Richard was excellent throughout, communicated well and was exceptionally welcoming. The house is exceptionally well equipped and more than suitable for our needs. Highly recommended.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Just back from a lovely stay at Donnas holiday home. The lodge was impeccably clean and really spacious. It had everything we needed to be able to self cater and was close to the town to be able to eat out too. The site was lovely and the staff in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming. The lodge is next to the play park and onsite eatery. The swimming pool is really close, only a couple of minutes walk. Donnas communication was excellent and the key safe worked really well. Had a great few days away and the lodge was really cosy on the rainy days we had. On a sunny day the decking and outside seating would have been amazing. Su h a great place for bringing a dog along too.Thank you for a wonderful stay xxx

Lovely cottage for our trip. The downstairs bedroom was lovely as our parents struggle with stairs and has a bathroom as well. The kitchen was just ideal in terms of what we needed. The park had loads of things to do. Our little one loved the swimming pool. A nice place to stay for a small family

Had a great stay in a beautiful house in a fabulous location. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. We struggled with TVs in the bedrooms but I think that's down to us and fire sticks.!! Simon responded quickly to any issues we had. We laid in bed and watched the sunrise - what's not to like. Would recommend.

We had the best two weeks staying in Brian’s house. The location was so beautiful and the coastal walks just perfect in the sunshine. Our kids loved using the pool. Brian was so responsive and helpful when we had questions. I would highly recommend this house. Our favourite thing was the field walk to the beach and the beautiful quiet beach. Will be back!

Me, my husband and 2 children had a fantastic stay for 4 nights over the Easter weekend. The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious and on a lovely holiday park with lots of amenities. A great central location to visit lots of different parts of Cornwall, which we did. The rainy days didn’t stop us from having a lovely time as there was plenty to do indoors too. Julia is a great host, with great communication and lots of recommendations for us. Definitely recommend this lovely home and host x
