It is weedy-great for watching wild life,kayaking, canoeing, and if you have your own boat and know how to maneuver in a weedy area or use the nearby boat landing. Off Grid Lakeside Yurt

Welcome to our lakeside yurt! This yurt is on 24 acres of private land with thousands of acres of public land connected. This site overlooks the lake which is wonderful for exploring, we do offer a canoe with booking. We provide basic lighting, wood stove, fire wood, a hand pump well in walking distance, an outhouse, and a wood fired cast iron hot tub. We are always happy to answer questions and lend a hand. We know this area really well and can offer suggestions and guidance.

Pokegama Lake is great for watersports. You can do some great fishing right off the private dock as well. During the winter months, Pokegama Lake is great for ice fishing and is accessible via snowmobile trails. The lake also hosts 2 restaurants/bars with dock access.
