The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage. Which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). Walking distance to all that Bangor has to offer including Waterfront Pavilion, Stephen King's house, wonderful pubs and restaurants.
