The house features reclaimed wood pieces and local furniture finds alongside mid century modern touches that give it a unique and stylish appearance. With unique timbered walls and ceilings, a wood-burning stove (the only heat source), rustic stone detailing on the walls and large glass windows, you'll feel like you're living in the woods, but with the comfort of the indoors. Please note that this is an off-grid camping cabin without water, but there is electricity.

Welcome to our 1920's Craftsman Cottage, nestled in the friendly hamlet of Palenville. This fully furnished house is currently located close to the historic Kaaterskill Falls, Hunter Mtn skiing and hiking. The local swimming hole is within walking distance. Hop in your car for the short drive to Catskill, Hudson, Woodstock, or Saugerties. This area will keep you coming back time and time again. Located less than 2 hours from NYC and just 15 min Exit 20 of the NYS Thruway.

Cozy Treehouse in Catskill Mountains.

The treehouse resides on the locally famous Fernwood property. Our family ran a restaurant here since the 1970's. We no longer operate the restaurant, but the property is gorgeous. The treehouse is at the end of a road with a private swimming hole. Right out of the treehouse is the entrance to the famous long trail, plenty of hiking here. Also in town is the entrance to The Catskill Wild Forest. Hiking into Kaaterskill Falls is one of the main attractions here in town.
