Wren Cottage, Brixham

Wren Cottage is a charming, cosy 2 bedroom cottage. Set down a private track with free parking it is far enough away to be quiet but also only a 7 minute walk (0.3miles) into town. Wren Cottage is suitable for sunny days exploring the area and with its superb log burner cosy nights in. There is a local pub only a few minutes walk which also serves food. Please note the parking space/gravel track will need to be reversed out off but there is normally parking on the hill behind the cottage.

Featuring a sitting room with 55" tv, master bedroom with king size bed and built in wardrobes, bathroom with walk in shower and kitchen/breakfast rm with bi-fold doors leading onto a private garden.

The cottage is in the charming village of Marldon, close to the seaside towns of Torquay, Paignton, and Brixham with their quirky shops, pubs, restaurants, and galleries. Smugglers’ Creek is a cosy traditional fisherman’s cottage on the riverside in the lovely village of Stoke Gabriel, South Hams. There is a slipway just outside the cottage where you can launch your dinghy or kayak, and you can also hire a kayak from the quay in summer. Directly opposite the cottage is the fab River Shack Cafe for delicious drinks and meals morning to night (Thurs to Sunday in winter)The village boasts 2 pubs and a restaurant, general store with P.O. and the Dart River Gallery.

Fortune Cottage is a charming fisherman's cottage located a few minute's walk from Brixham harbour. The three storey semi-detached house, completely refurbished and redecorated in 2020, has sea views from the master bedroom. The cottage comprises a large sitting room with log burner, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, two bedrooms and a shower room. There is also a small laundry room with a washing machine and a separate WC. Outside there is an enclosed yard with seating and a BBQ.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard but keeping the original features to enjoy with a Summer Roof Terrace!. Although the harbour's hustle and bustle is a stone throw away, the cottage is conveniently tucked away for when you want those quieter evenings, the perfect location! We also have a private driveway for a medium size car - a rarity in the harbour!

Having undertaken a major modernisation the cottage retains many historical features . Sleeping 6 in 3 double bedrooms there is a large kitchen diner , sitting room with log burner , bathroom with bath and separate shower and a downstairs cloakroom . The enclosed small garden to the rear offers lovely views and the opportunity to star gaze at night . We allow flexible check in and check out times if there are no bookings either side. One dog is welcome for a booking fee of £60.
