Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

The specific residence with the inner courtyard and the garden with ferns, is an independent apartment of 80 sq.m. fully renovated with, large rooms, on short distance from the beaches and the city center. Concluding, access to the beautiful organized beach of "Afrata" is provided by car, or hiking through a small gorge.
