Oak View Cottage (circa 1904) combines history with modern comforts and prime location. Enjoy the ancient live oaks from the front porch and the landscaped backyard. At night, strings of market lights and an outdoor television create an extended outdoor living space to enjoy NC weather. One block south is the Pamlico River waterfront, park, and estuarium. One block west, you will find restaurants, bars, shopping and antiques. Directly across the street is St. Peter's Church (est 1822).

I Built in 1913, this historic site was originally the Norfolk-Southern Cafe. In the 1930s, the building was the site of grocery stores and meeting spaces, eventually becoming a popular coffee shop called "The Coffee Caboose". The space was converted into a private house, located steps from the waterfront and downtown dining and shopping. We sincerely invite you to come and enjoy our waterfront town.
