Experience pure relaxation within the enchanting shelter of a 320 SF Glamping Tent, nestled just a stone's throw from the tranquil waters of the Red River. The Elusive Elk beckons with its fully furnished sanctuary, boasting a king-sized bed, twin trundle bed, smart TV, fan, AC unit, coffee station, minifridge, microwave, internet, firepit, grill, access to a bath house and an array of amenities. Despite the 10-minute drive to shops/restaurants, the area exudes a sense of serene seclusion.

Enchanting Glamping Tent on Lake Cumberland

Named for a favorite Willy Porter song, "Moonbeam" is a 12'x14' safari tent on a wooden platform with a roof. Listen to tree frogs while drifting off to sleep on a queen size memory foam bed with soft, dreamy linens. The tent features power, lamps, chairs, and a desk. Outside, enjoy a private fire pit or sit a spell on rocking chairs on the back deck. Our Community Shelter, with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker, and our Bath House with flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk away.

Escape to a private getaway in the heart of Hocking Hills. This unique stay is centrally located off the beaten path between various Hocking Hills state park attractions and is approximatly one mile from Old Mans' Cave . While being off grid, this experience takes tent camping to a whole new level offering solar power for the basics, a hot shower and biological toilet. Surrounded by nature, it's easy to enjoy sitting on a deck that will be accentuated with breath taking fall foliage.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this custom canvas bell tent and outhouse. A lot of time and hard work have gone into creating a beautiful, yet simple and peaceful getaway for couples/friends/family. Inspired by the owner’s love and appreciation of vintage furniture, keepsakes, and old classical music/media, our hope is for those who want a little place to stay, and are wanting something different will check us out. It is still a work in progress with much more to come!
