A pleasent family or group house, has a salt water pool, garden around it, and nature surroundings. Odemira and Vicentina coast line have good hiking tracks all year around, beautiful coastline with beaches and cliffs, unspoiled towns and culture. You will find a map at the house with our recommendations and tips. The house has a living room with a fireplace, kitchen fully equipped, 3 rooms (2 with double bed and one with bunk bed), 2 bathrooms, storage area and laundry, garden, pool, television, internet and a sound system. In the peaceful Galeado, 5 minutes from Malhão beach, and 3 minutes from Vila Nova de Milfontes.

Eclectic Monte Laginha @ Alentejo (Surf&Beach)

Our home is an agricultural house renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

Set on 3 acres in a quiet valley, the house has a basic and rustic feel. Nothing fancy or luxurious, a bit rough around the edges, and it tends to easily collect dust. Guests have their own private swimming pool (unheated and private). There's a small stream, sometimes dry, running along the edge of the property. By car, it is a 5-minute drive to a major grocery store and less than 15 minutes away from beaches. The path around the house in the photo is part of the property.
