Carl’s place was perfect for us, we visit family in Nottingham. We stayed 6 nights and would definitely stay again, as a family of 4. The apartment is centrally located, near shops, cafés and bars. It is very peaceful as it’s tucked away off the main street. There is a beer garden that you can view from the window but we were not disturbed by this as I think they have a strict curfew. There are quite a lot of stairs to access the property, so if you have heavy bags or mobility issues this isn’t the place for you. But we had easy to carry suitcases and everybody could walk ok, so it was not an issue for us. Carl‘s communication was very prompt and clear, we did self check-in which was very easy. There is no parking on site, the lace market car park which was about a 5 minute walk away. The apartment has everything you need and a good amount of items in the kitchen for making food. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable with nice linen. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Sophia's beautiful place. She is a great communicator and provided us with clear instructions. She also left a few brochures of local attractions for us to explore. We enjoyed our time at Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Working from home was convenient due to the good Wi-Fi connection. We would definitely recommend Sophia's place to anyone looking for a great value stay in the Derbyshire area.

Stayed for Three nights for the Ice hockey at Motorpoint Arena. Perfect.Fantastic little place right in the centre close to everything you could possibly imagine. Super secure and possibly the best most responsive host I've encountered on Airbnb. Lots of extra touches inside like tea and milk for that important arrival cuppa and a bottle of wine to drown your sorrows when you've lost a match !! Would definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. Will definitely book all our arena stays if they're available. Definitely take the advice of other travellers and take earplugs for night time it can be noisy Friday and Saturday night, and the stairs phew you definitely get your steps in and earn extra treats in the local bakeries and coffee shops !! Parking... I'd consider leaving the car at home if you can but this was not the fault of the host... who is pretty awesome.

My stay at this hotel was very successful and if I needed a place to stay I would choose it again because of the cleanliness, location and speed of communication with the host.

In our opinion this is about as good as it gets. Susan has paid so much attention to setting up and running her AirBnb that nothing is left to chance. We met Susan and she showed us around explaining everything. She is clearly very proud of her 'business' and rightly so. She had good advice for eating places. The apartment is spacious and comfortably furnished. It is very stylish - might or might not be your chosen style but you are there for a break so lap it up! There are steps to get in, and once inside a few more between rooms. Not a problem for us. The place has been designed ingeniously to make best use of space. A really great place to stay if you want to visit people or just mooch around the area.
