Gaze at the stars at night or the brilliant view down the harbour. Bring your boat and experience the Kaipara Harbour. Kaiwaka, the little town of lights, has great cafes but is also perfectly situated only 15 minutes from Mangawhai with the surf beaches.

Drive 10 minutes to Dargaville or 7 minutes to the beautiful west coast beach, Glinks Gully. Safely fenced from neighbours and the quiet road. A magnificent vista of the river and views. Fully renovated home with modern kitchen and bathroom. Please note, while there are two bedrooms there are no bedroom doors, 😊

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is in Lake View Estate, a gated community. Accommodation sleeps 2 or 4 using our comfy sofa bed. Estate is a few minutes drive from Mangawhai Village and 15mins from the surf beach. Facilities include walking tracks around the lake. Views of Mangawhai and our awesome sand dune can be seen from the property’s driveway and on Lake View walks. Vistas are of rolling hills and there are still some cows on the property. A lovely restful country escape awaits our guests.

Kick your feet up and enjoy a margarita In this modern and newly renovated home. With a 2-minute walk to the beach and a large entertaining deck, there are plenty of opportunities for summer activities. This home is a perfect spot to unwind with three comfortable queen beds, two bathrooms, parking spaces and wifi. This is an excellent option for a group of up to 6. When you’re not relaxing in your home, there is much to explore within the beautiful Matakana and Omaha areas.
