Stayed here with my dog en route from Joburg to Cape Town. The spot was perfect for what we needed - big airy rooms with stone floor etc (very pet friendly), space for us to relax outside and walk around, comfy bed etc. Signal was spotty and there is no wifi/tv etc., but the farm/Karoo vibe didn't make me miss that at all. Not much close by so either bring stuff to braai, or pick up some takeaways before you get there. There is some lovely stuff at the padstal, but it's not really easy dinner food apart from pies etc., so its great for biltong, jams, koeksisters etc., but keep this in mind for dinner. I will 100% stay here again, as its great value, clean, airy and big rooms, and was a nice break from the rush.

We had the best time with our 2 dogs! The Weavers cottage felt very safe and private, there are some other dogs on the farm but they are all very friendly and just do their own thing. 10/10 experience perfect for hiking, swimming in waterfalls and stargazing.

Mare was a kind and very helpful host. The location is perfect as it is close to all the hiking trails but away from the hustle and bustle of other campsites.

Me and my family had an amazing stay. The ease of a USB charger in the bedside table, good wifi and a smart tv that can access all streaming services made me feel right at home. I will definitely stay here again in the future!!

A lovely quiet little place, private and absolutely stunning

It was a great stopover for us on a long drive, but the cottage had facilities for a nice longer stay. We didnt use the braai, fireplace, bar area or pool, but if we stayed longer, we definitely would! Rooms were spacious, with ensuites and fans or aircons, as it was very hot. Rooms and linens were clean, and place had a nice cottage feel, but not small at all. Staff brought our dinner to our cottage, which was appreciated after our long drive.
