Our stay in Carriage 343 at Redleaf Farm was just magical. The carriage was done up impeccably with the softest bed linens, beautiful lighting and toasty warm shower. We loved the privacy of the location towards the back of the property, with a huge fire pit beside the scribbly gums and gorgeous Highland Cows and sheep grazing right nearby. Our kids loved exploring the creek and could've spent hours on the zipline. Katrina, Sam and their children are such friendly hosts. Highly recommend a stay at Redleaf Farm, to get back to nature and enjoy fresh country air within luxurious accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

Absolutely spectacular. Beautiful location, quiet and private. Stunning old train carriages decked out beautifully with period, quality furnishing, sheets, curtains and all. It was a true pleasure to stay here and experience what is clearly a train fanatics life work. Place was spotless, well maintained, had everything you need and is a must stay. We had such a lovely stay! The host was warm and welcoming, greeting us with fresh sourdough on arrival. The train carriage was cosy and peaceful — the perfect spot to unwind. We explored the beautiful grounds, stayed off our devices, and ended our days by the fire roasting marshmallows. A truly restful escape! We couldn't ask for a better weekend.

My family and I loved our stay at this cute and unique property. The views were beautiful and the cabin was very cozy with everything we needed for the weekend! Hosts were communicative and friendly as well. We will definitely be back :)

Such wonderful and unique accommodation. Our family loved it and my son can't keep talking about Katrina and her family, the carriage and the animals! Despite it raining for most of our trip, we had a fabulous time. We loved meeting the animals, catching yabbies, zip-lining and just hanging out in the cool train cabin. Thanks to Katrina and her family for warmly welcoming us and making sure we enjoyed out stay. We will be back!

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at The George. Sleeping in a train carriage was a dream come true for my train loving nephew! The kids enjoyed playing handball in the yard, meeting the resident animals, as well as relaxing on the couch playing boardgames. They even saw little kangaroos or wallabies on the property in the early morning! The living area was spacious enough for all 9 of us to hang out, it didn't feel crowded at all. Yes the bedrooms are cosy, but that adds to the charm. We are in a converted train carriage after all! The shower pressure was good with lots of hot water, and there is now WIFI in case you need it. We had a great time and it definitely is one of the coolest places I have stayed at. Thanks Ashley - you guys have done an amazing job with the place!

5 stars – A perfect getaway in the heart of wine country! We had an incredible stay at The Station in Pokolbin. The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views of the vineyards and countryside. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and spacious—perfect for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. We especially loved the outdoor deck for morning coffees and evening wine. The location is fantastic—close to great wineries, restaurants, and local attractions, yet it still felt wonderfully private and secluded. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made check-in seamless. Staying in this gorgeous old train carriage was honestly such a dream. It’s the perfect mix of cozy and charming — you can feel the history in every detail, yet everything inside is stylish, clean, and so thoughtfully put together. The train station is close by, so you might hear trains passing through the night. We loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings, with birds chirping and even the neighbor’s horse galloping nearby — it’s truly a vibe. We also really appreciated the beautifully designed guidebook that had everything we needed to know. We’ve already been raving to our family and friends about this amazing experience — thank you for creating such a magical space!

We had such a wonderful time staying in the train! You can start your day in the outdoor pool, play some frisbee golf, sit and relax in front of a gorgeous view and get cosy inside with a DVD! David and Jenny made us feel very welcomed and cooked a lovely breakfast for us too :) We’ll be coming back for sure!

Myself and partner, had a beautiful stay overnight, on our road trip,amazing location , beautiful accommodation, and fabulous hosts , Dave greeted us and was extremely hospitable and informative. Loved the unique accommodation and being able to have the fire pit going in the eavning star gazing , the accommodation was fabulous . Couldn’t have asked for more . Will definitely be back , but next time for longer to enjoy the local area . Thank u so much

Fantastic place to stay for a weekend in Stanthorpe. Brent was fantastic as a host. House was beautifully clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Beautiful location!!

Jenny & David’d place is such a gem! Truly unique art deco design and bonus: it’s surrounded by kangoroos (for us this was one of the highlights in the morning). Also, it was lovely to meet them. 100% recommend staying at their place if you are around.
